   The service was poor from the moment we were seated. After about 20 minutes of being seated a guy came by and asked if we wanted water while we wait. It then took about another 23-30 minutes for our waiter to come by and acknowledges us. She came and asked if we were ready to order. We placed our order and it took forever to get our food. The fries and cheese on the loaded fries were cold. This experience ruined my girls birthday lunch and they didn't want to eat anything. They didn't finish their milkshakes because after waiting so long for their food they just wanted to leave.

   We went for our daughter’s birthday because she loved the Bahamas location, particularly the deserts. However, we were informed that the ONLY ice cream they had was butter pecan. This rendered 99% of the desert menu and thus the reason for going useless. Our server really tried hard but this place is clearly going out of business. We were literally the only table. Food and drinks also way overpriced. $24 for a very small cocktail that tasted completely different the first and second time we ordered it. $300+ for a dinner for 4 with 2 adults and 2 kids.

   Location is very small but that wasn’t the issue. No one came to my table to take our order. I had to ask the hostess why no one had been over yet. The waitress looked like she didn’t wanna be there. The drinks tasted like the no alcohol drinks. I’ve been to several locations is different states and this location falls short in every way.

   This Sugar Factory is inside the Galleria…first no for me, it’s small and not well equipped with alcohol: unless they have a bar area in another section of the restaurant. I went specifically for the Christmas menu, I was told that they weren’t doing it anymore. The staff was nice and responsive but the environment is not comparable to any other Sugar Factory I’ve been to. The entire environment was unappealing.

   We went for my daughter’s 16th birthday. For the price we paid you’d think the food would be way better and the service should have been excellent. I got loaded hamburger fries, the hamburger meat tasted like a freezer burned Patty that they just heated up. I literally picked out every piece of meat and only ate the cheese fries. My daughter got chicken and shrimp Alfredo. Her bowl had a hair in it. They did remake it for her but no apologies or even $5 off the bill. I ordered a sour Apple martini thing and by the time it got to my table (20 min after I ordered it) the sucker they put in it had melted and made the drink taste like medicine. What I assume was the manager asked me if the drink was “too strong” I told her it just taste nasty. I ordered a pink lemonade after that. For me and my daughter my total was $106 after tip. (I wasn’t aware gratuity was already included in the bill so they got a double tip from me) All I can say is do your research and read the reviews first.

    This was a horrible sugar factory experience. The server was so rude. Birthday girl never got her food
