   We are a family of four that have been traveling for the past 2 weeks and Summer House has been voted the number one meal of our trip so far. The food was fresh and there were so many options to suit our very fussy eaters. A special shout out to Clay who served our table. He was funny, attentive and just made our dining experience so enjoyable! Would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal

   I wanted to take clients to a new restaurant while they were visiting Orlando & I really felt that Summer House would be the perfect place since they were visiting from freezing Pennsylvania. I honestly can say - the establishment has more work to do. We were not asked if we wanted to sit outside and were told to sit us at table 503. On any other night that would’ve been a perfect setting but it was in the 40’s & the heat lamps didn’t distribute heat below the dining table so we were extremely cold. The person that sat us seemed very hospitable & treated us like we were family. She gave us our menus and had a smile on her face. Then we had Melissa or Melissa’s (name on her name tag) as our server. It all went south from there. She was dismissive, walked away when I had questions regarding the food and product offerings. She was young and very entitled & I can honestly say, I always tip well and I did not want to give her a dime of my money. I literally was in the middle of talking to her and she walked away and I had to raise my voice so she would come back to the table. I asked simple things like “do you have yellow packets or actual yellow packets that say Splenda on it, she replied they had Splenda and when she drops off the sugar container it was the green Splenda packet with Stevia (not the same thing). I always ask specific questions so I can order drinks or food without any mistakes. This young lady did not care. The lack of respect she had was amazing. I can count about four times she either didn’t answer my queries or while in the middle of taking my To-Go order she literally walked away as I was ordering my second side. Just a complete lack of professionalism. The food was okay, nothing special. Just everyday fare you can get anywhere. I did get the guacamole and it was fresh but overall, I will not be back. Melissa said I could sign up for the loyalty program but but the QR code wasn’t allowing me to sign up and she said “I don’t know how it works”

   Our first visit and it won’t be our last. Delicious food and outstanding, friendly service. You could tell everyone wanted to insure that our experience was top notch.

   The five of us were taken to be seated at exactly our reservation time. The host, CHRIS, who escorted us to our table was both very friendly and professional, and engaged me in a very pleasant conversation as walked to our table.  CHRIS’ great personality and pleasant conversation set the tone for an extremely pleasant meal.  After the five of us ordered, our server repeated back to us our orders to make sure that it was correct…..and it was! The meals were all delicious, nutritious, fairly priced, and the presentation was wonderful. From start to finish, our meal at the Summer house was a wonderful experience.
