   We enjoyed a good Sunday lunch, but more gravy would have been nice. Restaurant now looks great. We discussed with the manager the possibility of booking a bar space for 14 ladies to meet up for cocktails between five and seven pm. We were told that there is nowhere in the whole area that could accommodate all of us sitting together. When I suggested the long sofa in the bar area I was told ‘that’s the bar area which we can’t book’. So, I hope you get 14 cocktail drinkers, between five and seven on a Thursday evening in your bar area. We meet monthly and love to find a good venue to spend lots of money x

   Hi Amanda, Thank you for taking the time to leave such a detailed review. We are really glad you enjoyed the lunch and take on board the feedback about extra Gravy! I am sorry that the bar space is not bookable. With the introduction of the restaurant, we are desperate to retain an environment for all of our bar regulars to still be able to pop in and get a drink and the non-bookable space is a model that has worked really well for us before. That being said, we would still really welcome you to come in, and there will definitely be space for you on a Thursday at 5pm if you come in!    Lovely restaurant but. My daughter ordered venison salami and I would have thought that it would have something else or at least nicely served but it was literally cut salami pieces on the board. Chicken wings and duck liver pate were great. Sunday roast was very good. My dessert was Plum tart. It was super sweet and I couldn’t finish it. Tried two types of cocktails and they were not that impressive, just sour. The service was ever so slow. We came at 1:30 and finished almost at 4pm.

   Tables are far too small for food for 4 people. Those round tables should be for 2 people. We were so cramped and eating was not enjoyable experience. Give proper size tables!

   Excellent concept and the food was superb. The staff were very friendly on arrival and tapas items were delivered frequently but not necessarily in the right`order. There were two of us. All of the items were described as "for sharing" but some were easier to share than others: e.g. four small arancini - OK: one scallop - ?. After the tapas we had to wait 30 mins to be asked if we wanted a dessert and 40 mins before it arrived. Despite the place being only 20% full all the customers were placed very closely together in the window - not ideal. We know it has only been open a few days so will put these issues down to teething. We will return but hope some changes will be made before we do.

   Nice interesting addition to Summertown. Interesting food. Pleasant atmosphere and service, but the latter was rather slow.

   Absolutely love the concept of 'small plates'. Each dish comes out when it is ready so the emphasis is on the food being 'just right'. Menu is really interesting and varied. Great service. Great ambiance. Magnificent wine list. Had a lovely birthday celebration dinner. Thank you!

   What an absolute treat to have these two equally reputable companies come together to produce knockout offspring in OxTwo. The food was out of this world, real afternoon delight. Service and wine were also exceptional. Bravo gentleman, wishing you all the success for the future.
