Felt the service we received was based on what they perceived our pockets to be holding. I work in this industry and have for some time. I was excited to bring my family here for a nice evening that some of them never get to enjoy. We’ve collectively all had the hardest year of our lives and wanted to celebrate still having each other this holiday season. I felt the service was dodgy from the jump and we were severely dismissed as less important than any other table. I feel we were cut short from the true experience Sunday Vinyl can offer. Aside from this, the wine selection was impressive. A major reason I chose the spot was due to their recent James Beard spot for their wine program. I’m coming from Austin and was excited to check out what Denver had to offer. The kindest person in the room was the (assumed) Somm who delivered my marsanne and made brief and friendly conversation regarding my selection. Something id have liked to see more of from the rest of staff in general. I realize holidays are hard and busy but the few times we can touch tables at busy moments can really change the experience for the guests. I felt the warmth to be absent and the staff disengaged entirely.

We took our grown children to dinner at Sunday Vinyl and had a wonderful experience. Three of us asked for custom flights of wine so we got to try many of the glasses on the menu and each dish that came from the kitchen was perfect and packed with flavor. As always, service was impeccable! Thank you to everyone who made our evening special!

A bit of a slow start. We had first seating reservation when doors opened. After waiting quite a while we had to flag someone down to take our drink orders and one did not come out as ordered. The standouts were the appetizers, Wellfleet oysters with housemade hot sauce and mignonette, salade verte, and salt roasted beets with endive, walnut, cder blue cheese. All highly recommended. Entree's were good, but could have been served a little hotter. If you are a bread eater order the Parker House rolls.

This was our first meal at Sunday Vinyl. We were very impressed. The service was great and the main course wasn’t just good; it was memorable. We’ll talk about it again and again. That doesn’t happen very often.

We’ve been going to FHG restaurants for many years. I’ve celebrated my last three birthdays at Sunday Vinyl, and we went celebrated our anniversary this year at Tavernetta. We go there for two principle reasons—first is the food, and second, because we always feel special when we go there, like we matter to them. Having gotten to know Bobby Stuckey and some other staff, I know it’s in the DNA of what they do. The service is unparalleled. Period. This time, celebrating my wife’s birthday, they came up way short. Server was disengaged from the beginning, host was somewhat dismissive when I asked if we could have a quieter table toward the back, and we just generally felt like we didn’t matter that night—no one checked back until our plates were nearly empty. Very much felt like they wanted to turn the table…something I’ve never experienced at any FHG restaurant, and we’ve been to all of them. Bit bummed, and the birthday was a little lackluster because of that, to be honest. As teachers, these nights out are big treats for us, and this was a bit disappointing. We’ll go back for sure, but they want and need to hear this.

The Iberico Pork, Diver Scallops, Kamachi crudo were all amazing! The team of servers were very attentive and super helpful in making recommendations for both food and drinks. The atmosphere is fun and playful with the vinyl theme and the music playing.
