Made reservations for 11:30 AM didn’t get seated until 11:55 a.m. After waiting 25 minutes, they went to seat us and said oh wait we just gave away your seats. Waited a little longer then was seated. Took a while before waiter came to our table. By then we knew what we wanted. We ordered food arrived rather quickly. That was probably the best experience with the efficiency of the food. However, what fell flat was our waiters lackadaisical attitude on getting requested straws and ketchup to go with our meal that took us asking another waitress after waiting around quite some time. Waiter was nice, but just not attentive nor was the efficiency of seating us. Probably have to do something with the holiday week. Food quality was OK. One meal the fingerling potatoes were overcooked dried out and crunchy. However, the rest of the items were pretty decently prepared. Probably wouldn’t return again for the price and quality of service.

According to our server, they were down. 2 people, but even so it seemed to take a long time to get a Diet Coke, much less our food. The restaurant decor is cute, but the music volume is too loud so you end up shouting to people across the table. The club sandwich was okay, but the fries were crispy and very flavorful.

The ambiance and service were great but the food was subpar. Avocado toast was over salted, and the biscuits with the gravy were hard. It is not inexpensive so I expect the food to be excellent. We have been a few times with mixed results. It’s such a fun place that we’ll probably try again and order something different.

Great place to spend a Christmas Eve brunch and see Santa. My go to is eggs Benedict and theirs did not disappoint. The service was great and food was even better. Highly recommend.

It was a great experience. The service could have been a little more attentive but it was still good. The latte could have had a bigger mug for the price. I wish they had the option for a gluten free almond flour waffle like the pancake version they have.

FAQs

Yes, guests reference other locations and growth (for example, mentions of a Salt Lake location opening), which suggests Sunday’s Best is part of a multi-location concept. If you’re looking for a specific neighborhood or another branch’s hours, check the brand’s website or call directly to confirm locations and hours.

For a lively brunch vibe come mid-morning on weekends; for a quieter experience choose an early seating or a weekday. Guests report weekends are very busy and loud, so weekday mornings (Mon–Fri) or early weekend hours can be calmer. If noise is a concern, request outdoor seating or an early table when making your reservation.

Yes, guests have successfully added notes to reservations and received small personalized touches (one guest left a ‘self-date’ note and found a sweet card at the table). Guests also report asking to sit outside or mentioning birthdays when booking. Because service can be inconsistent at busy times, call ahead to confirm requests like seating, dietary needs, or celebration details so staff can better accommodate you.

There are casual indoor dining areas with a mix of booths and tables plus an outdoor terrace that guests use when they prefer a quieter spot. The restaurant does not advertise private dining rooms and owner info lists that private parties aren't available, but it does accept larger parties. Some guests mentioned being seated near walkways at busy times, so note any special seating needs when reserving.

The atmosphere is upbeat, energetic and visually charming, a true brunch destination. Guests consistently describe a fun, vibrant vibe with lively music, friendly staff and festive touches (seasonal Santa visits and live music). That energy can make it noisy, so it’s ideal for social brunches, celebrations, or a lively date rather than a quiet, intimate meal.

Family-friendly seating: yes, Sunday's Best welcomes families and children. Guests frequently bring toddlers, celebrate birthdays, and note staff are accommodating to kids. Accessible seating: not clearly stated in the available information. If you need wheelchair access or specific accommodations, call ahead and the team can confirm arrangements and best seating options for your visit.

Yes, guests report holiday service and special events (Easter brunch, Christmas activities, visits from Santa), so the restaurant often operates on major holidays with festive programming. Because holiday hours and events can vary, call ahead or check the restaurant’s announcements before planning a holiday visit.

Yes, but choose the right mood. Sunday's Best Sandy is lively, fun, and perfect for a casual, energetic date where good food and a buzzing atmosphere matter. Guests praise the delicious brunch dishes, cocktails and friendly servers, making it great for a celebratory or playful outing. If you want a quiet, intimate conversation, consider an early weekday seating or request outdoor seating (guests report it's usually quieter outside). Reservations are recommended on weekends.

Sunday’s Best Sandy keeps classic brunch hours. They’re open weekdays and weekends for brunch: Mon–Fri 8:00 am–3:00 pm and Sat–Sun 8:00 am–4:00 pm. Because brunch service gets busy on weekends and holidays, guests recommend making a reservation to avoid waits.

The dress code is smart casual. Guests dress up or down comfortably, the vibe is relaxed yet polished, so think neat casual outfits rather than formal wear. The restaurant’s friendly, upbeat setting fits both casual weekend brunch attire and slightly dressier looks for celebrations.

Weekdays are the best choice for a quieter, more relaxed visit; Monday–Friday mornings are typically less crowded. If you want the full festive brunch scene, go on a weekend when the energy is high and special events often happen, just expect louder music and larger crowds. Reservations are recommended for weekends and holidays.

Portions are generally satisfying but can vary by dish. Many guests report generous plates, steak and eggs, beignets and pancakes often get praised for size, while a few guests felt some shareable items (like the caviar waffle) were smaller than expected. If you’re sharing appetizers or ordering a specialty “shareable, ” check descriptions or ask your server. Guests often recommend the monkey bread and beignets as indulgent options worth ordering.

Yes, many guests bring children and celebrate birthdays here. Reviewers note that staff are accommodating with little kids and toddlers, and families appreciate the festive atmosphere and menu variety. If you’re dining with very young children, an early seating or outdoor table may make things more comfortable given the restaurant’s lively noise level.

Busiest: weekend mid-mornings and holidays, guests repeatedly note packed weekends, lively crowds and loud music. Quietest: weekday mornings or early weekend seatings tend to be calmer. Outdoor seating is also frequently cited as a quieter option. If you prefer a lower-volume meal, aim for an early weekday reservation or ask for patio seating.

Yes, guests have requested and been seated outside, and multiple reviews recommend the terrace as a quieter option. Outdoor seating is a good choice if you prefer lower noise levels while still enjoying the same menu and friendly service. When booking, request patio seating if that’s important to your visit.
