– “where sunshine spends the winter” – also known as Tex-Mex cuisine served in an Old-West-inspired atmosphere alongside music inspired by Austin.

The cuisine is a combination of 1950s Tex-Mex and the wood grill that has taken the food to another level by way of fajitas and more. An “evolved Tex-Mex menu,” includes the classics: tacos, nachos, tamales and enchiladas plus more intricate dishes such as wood-grilled fajitas and shrimp tacos always served with just-made flour tortillas, all while paying homage to the traditions and recipes that have been a part of the Texas culture for decades.

We eat at Superica often and continue to be frustrated with a recurring issue. I always order sweet tea and the staff REPEATEDLY gets rid of the tea before I finish my meal & need refills. In their attempt to clean up WAY BEFORE closing time, they discard the tea so none is available for refills. It was 60 minutes BEFORE CLOSING, they had thrown away the remaining tea & turned off the machine that makes the CHIPS!!! I counted and there were more than 40 paying customers still dining in the restaurant and we could not continue to enjoy chips throughout our meal (& we don't just enjoy them as an appetizer!) and had to switch to water instead of tea! Throwing out the tea happens EVERYTIME we are there an hr before closing & now the staff is also discontinuing the chips with that many guests remaining and it's NOT closing time. This is so INCONSIDERATE!!! I'm sure the staff would like to leave their jobs at exactly 10:00pm at closing but it is terrible service for a waiter to tell guests that there's no more tea & no chips, when it's still an hr before close! Pleeeease rectify this for your dining guests & Superica's reputation!

Fantastic food and service. It was our first time, but we are definitely coming back. It was a little louder side, but not too much.

The ambience here is fantastic! I've been to other locations before but this location takes it up a notch. Food and service was great! Ordered their delicious fajitas and it came out fresh and hot. As someone who rarely drinks alcohol their Ginger No-jito was amazing it had the right balance of sweet with the lime and fresh mint. Additionally, our waiter Sai was fantastic. She offered great menu recommendations and was full of energy. I will definitely be back to this location!

Will be a go-to for nicer Tex-Mex outings. We thoroughly enjoyed the vintage music videos

Worst superrica location I’ve been to. Found hair in my food. Service was poor, I never got tortillas for my fajitas after asking multiple times.

My husband and I have been to Superica many times we brought some out-of-town guest with us one of our daughters and grandson and they were both very impressed. My daughter said she’s never had such good text mix food before always consistent wonderful food and consistent wonderful service.

I know they were shortstaffed, but there was a lot of sass that went along with the excuses for long waits, cold food, and a backed up bar. We keep coming back thinking it’ll be better next time it’ll be better next time… It hasn’t been since they changed up the menu and introduced Lazy Susan’s. That was the turning point. I don’t think it’s recovered, which is really too bad.
