   It was one of the best Japanese meals I have had in a long time. You can see and taste the thought and time spent in each dish. Chef Alex was very engaging and attentive throughout the meal. Very detail oriented and the other staff were also great. If you appreciate good sushi with great service with attention to detail and top-notch quality, I recommend Sushi Hakko. We came for our anniversary and we were so glad we chose this restaurant. Must try their dessert also. The truffle cheesecake was perfection. The chef said he took 2 years to hone the recipe.! It was our first time, and now, won't be our last time dining there.

   We sat at the sushi bar. The food was tremendous and we really enjoyed hearing from the chef about his inspiration for the restaurant and for each dish. I highly recommend

   I thought all their nigiri pieces were really small. All of them tasted similar. There wasn’t any dish that really wowed me.

   The best sushi in San Francisco! Unfortunately they don’t have cocktails but they do have a good wine by the glass and sake selection.
