OMAKASE Sushi Course Menu:

OMAKASE means "Up to you" in Japanese. A unique Japanese dining experience that involves placing one's trust in the chef's culinary skills to create a personal meal. This selected course meal includes carefully crafted dishes from appetizer to Nigiris to tempura to grilled fish to soup to all the way to dessert. This journey begins with the freshest, highest-quality fish imported from Japan. Our sushi chef, Haruki Higashitai masterfully navigates the seasons, bringing you distinctive flavors the reflect the quality and essence of each ingredient.
Just be ready to savor his creation!

Reservations only on Saturday for this one-of-a-kind traditional Japanese experience, OMAKASE Sushi Course Menu.

Saturdays - 5pm or 7:15pm (2hr service), Serving only 6 guests per time slot.

Every time I visit Hawaii I try and stop by Sushi Hana for their Omakase. It’s a great experience with great people. Even if you are traveling alone you aren’t eating alone at Sushi Hana!

Truly magnificent. Haruki is the most skilled sushi chef that I’ve had the pleasure to meet. Etsuko explained each course allowing us to truly appreciate and enjoy them. Etsuko and Haruki are a wonderful team which made for a special evening

The Omakase experience was remarkable. The pacing of the entire meal was just right. Every course was visually appealing. Our server described each dish with thoughtful details on the origin of the ingredients and the method the chef used to prepare it. Truly a memorable meal curated by a small business one should be proud to support.

Exceptional quality, presentation and service. We learned about and tasted fish that we have never heard of before. Wonderful experience for all three of us.

It was one of the most beautiful dining experiences, we have ever had. Haruki takes great care and pride in creating his dishes.

What is the best way to describe Sushi Hana…….not only the best sushi restaurant on the island if Hawaii but the best if any I have been to in the state if Hawaii……and the best sushi restaurant I have been to period. And being from the Pacific Northwest I have been to many great sushi restaurants. What makes Sushi Hana my favorite…..the personal touch in every order….the small informal nature of the restaurant and both the owner and the chef….having every dish be fantastic - full of flavor, fresh and making me want more. Over a span of 9 days I are there 4 times fir normal dinner service and once for Saturday onakase. Each visit made me want to come back again for more. I really look forward to my February visit again. What did I like - every single nagiri item, the wide tempura choice, the miso soup (OMG- absolutely vest ever), the salads, the sake, and more. Go there….enjoy!
