   Excellent food and knowledgeable service. I thought I was starting not to like sushi, but it's just that I so early get to eat the good stuff.

   Best place to take a friend for a birthday dinner and it was their first time so it was an extra special treat. We did a la carte and had three of the four specials—all of them melted in our mouths. I’ll say it every time I write a review for Sushi Kashiba. There is no other sushi spot like this one. The cuts of fish, the dry aging, the marinated pieces, the smoked ones—nothing like this place. Delicate, melt in your mouth pieces, one bite as it should be. Also the way they orchestrate your courses is top notch. We selected a dozen different pieces plus the tempura, sautéed geoduck and black cod. They don’t just send it all out on one plate or do the hot plates first. Things are paired expertly. We started with tempura—best in the US hands down. So light and airy but sooo crispy. Served with matcha salt it’s too die for. I could go on and on about each course but why bore people when I’ve already blabbed on and on. Save your sheckels and treat yourself to one of the best meals of your life. Also be sure to ask for Brandon as your server. He is an expert having worked there for 9 years. He loves food and the way he describes the courses makes it that much more appealing and appetizing. The second you set foot in the place the service is phenomenal. Gracious and genuinely kind. No pretentiousness whatsoever. One of my favorite restaurants period…

   We had a wonderful meal. My daughter (9 years old), wife and I enjoyed everything we had. My daughter loves salmon and had 10 pieces of salmon belly that was excellent. I was luckily able to steal a piece. My wife and I stared off with the oysters. They tasted extremely fresh. The preparation was complimentary and not overwhelming. My wife and I then shared the omakase. When we go back we will get two orders because it was that amazing. We also had the black cod which was excellent. The nigiri is the star and I would recommend letting it be the focus of your dinner.

    This was the best sushi I’ve ever had in the US ! The incredible freshness and flavor profiles are unparalleled in my palettes lifelong / worldwide culinary journey 😁. The service was impeccable. It was both professional and friendly. My overall experience was exceptional and I’m looking forward to my next opportunity to visit!!!
