Welcome to Sushi Passion, the home of sushi in Birmingham. From humble beginnings in Birmingham’s market we’ve been in The Great Western Arcade since 2014 offering a truly traditional Japanese sushi bar experience, recognised by the All Japan Sushi Association for Authenticity.

If you arrive later than 15 minutes for your booking, without letting us know, your table may be given to another party.

When booking a table, please be aware that half of our restaurant consists of Traditional Japanese tatami seating on to which you might be assigned if you don't specify seating preference.

It was our first time in the restaurant and we will definitively come back. Traditional Japanese resutoran, traditional food, and excellent service, what’s not to like?!

A really lovely restaurant. Food was delicious and our waitress was wonderful. She was very patient and took the time to chat to our boys. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Birmingham.

I went here for my mum's birthday, and it was such a lovely evening. The atmosphere was great, the food was delicious, and the waitresses were super professional and really knew their stuff. The only thing I’d suggest improving is the table layout. Our table was right by the automatic door, and every time it opened, a chilly draft came through – not ideal in winter! Other than that, everything was spot on, and I’d definitely recommend it.

For sure the best Birmingham sushi restaurant. Food is amazing and with a good relation quality/price. All the sushi is freshly made in an open kitchen. Service is nice and kind.

This is me and my husband favourite restauran. We have visited so many times the staff now recognise us. The food is always amazing, the atmosphere is perfect for a romantic date and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Would absolutely recommend to anyone

I can’t fault this place—everything about it is exceptional. The relaxing, calm ambiance transforms dining into a truly memorable experience. The food is absolutely delicious, so delicate. I would give it 11 out of 10! A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for making this place so special.

Such a lovely first visit to Sushi Passion. We had a table at 4.30pm on a Friday so it was very quiet, not a problem and it clearly picks up later as more waiting staff arrived whilst we ate. Lovely, convenient location over the road from Birmingham Snow Hill train station in a beautiful arcade. The restaurant itself was authentic with some floor seating sections which was particularly nice. The staff were attentive and service was fantastic. The food was superb, fresh, delicious, plenty of it! I honestly couldn’t fault it.
