The quality of the food was good. The menu is limited and not all options were available. The waitress was friendly but did not offer alternatives, only responding to our questions. We are not sure if we will come back. There are other Peruvian food options are in the area

First time in that Peruvian restaurant, food was delicious, service was good. I will come back again.

Was pleasantly suprised. Service was phenomenal. Portions were large and very flavorful. Presentation was beautiful. Looking forward to eating here again.

Exquisite flavors in every dish. Service is always very good- their attentiveness lets you know they are genuinely appreciative of you dining there. Will return for sure!

I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful and inviting the restaurant was. I had read the reviews online and they cautioned about the restaurant being empty if you arrived early but that it would be packed by 7:00. Unfortunately and fortunately it was a quiet evening but I would recommend this chic restaurant. The food was amazing and on point and the service was personal and friendly.

The seafood soup was very good and the pasta was excellent. Great chocolate dessert!. All in, it is good food. Could use a tad more attention to the ambiance. We will be back, though.

We’ve eaten at a lot of Peruvian restaurants in south Florida, and Suspiró was better than many! In particular, the ceviche was outstanding, the fish super fresh and the lime juice, and seasonings were very zesty! The lomo saltado, the baseline measure of any comida Peruana, was delicious, heavy with onions, the bistec rich and nicely grilled to medium rare, and a very healthy serving. The papardelle con bistec was less impressive, because the sauce was bland, lacking sabor, and the very thin slices of steak were over cooked. The desserts were clearly brought in from offsite, but were generally very enjoyable. The lucama was creamy, tangy and blended nicely with the chocolate drizzle. The suspiró after which the restaurant is named had too much meringue (?…whatever the gummy sugar-rich topping is), and the whole concoction was too chilled, so it was served closer to ice cream than the soft “sigh” of a dessert it is supposed to be, but we brought it home, scraped off the white topping, let it sit for an hour and then it was lovely! The restaurant itself is not particularly attractive, the windows overlooking a non-descript Boca side-street would be better off curtained or otherwise shielded, instead of leaving the feeling of a diner or re-purposed office space. Our waitress was sweet and well-intentioned, but her English was weak, she served our entrees without providing any silverware, and she left us waiting for the check to be brought to us while she shared a suspiro herself with another of the restaurant staff. Probably the owner’s or manager’s daughter and it’s probably her first job as a waitress. Hopefully she will learn. In sum, the food was generally very good, and if the overall experience left room for improvement, the ceviche alone was justification to overlook the rest. Victoria’s in Lantana is still the high bar for Peruvian in Palm Beach County but Suspiró is a worthwhile alternative if you want to stay closer to home in Boca or Delray.
