Sweet Auburn BBQ is located in the historic Poncey-Highland neighborhood, near the Fox Theatre, Ponce City Market, and Fernbank Museum. The well designed dining space features reclaimed antiques and custom lighting, making it the ideal place for a dinner date or business lunch. Their sidewalk patio is a dog friendly too.

Sweet Auburn Barbecue offers traditional style barbecue with an Asian twist. This was one of the most amazing places I have ever eaten. The food tasted so good, and homemade—it felt like I was over someone’s house getting some comfort food. True, authentic, southern cooking. The service was amazing. Everyone was very welcoming and hospitable.

Sweet Auburn is our "go to" for barbecue. In addition, the jalapeno cornbread and the pimento wontons are outstanding This is a very friendly neighborhood restaurant that never fails to be inimate with very peronalized service.

Went on a rainy Monday night. Greeted and seated immediately. Great margaritas and awesome wings!!! Service was spot on - timely, sweet but not hovering. Nice to have covered and validated (free) parking right across the street. We’ll be back!

We had early reservations, so the restaurant wasn’t crowded at all. Our server, Jaeden, was so friendly and helpful. All of our food was great! Couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience.

The BBQ Bao buns were a let down. Mine arrived at the table looking like it had been deconstructed and the flavor was ruined by the outer shell being too tough and not being steamed properly. I prefer the bao buns that look like baseballs, but these look like soft tacos in a white crust. The brisket egg rolls were just not that flavorful and didn't have any pop of 'WOW" that I was hoping for. I have eaten here several times and the BBQ is so good that I just expected more and was disappointed

I have always loved Sweet Auburn, and my recent visit to celebrate my birthday was no exception. As always, the food was delicious, and the bartender crafted some super tasty cocktails. But on this particular occasion, I had the unique opportunity to meet one of the owners (Anita). I mentioned I was there for my birthday, and next thing I know, I get a surprise banana pudding for dessert - candle and all! My server (Diamond) also shined (no pun intended). She was knowledgeable about the menu, conversational, and friendly. My visit was more than just a delicious meal, it was a wonderful experience. Precisely what you dine-in for! Looking forward to my next visit!
