The food was very good, the staff and attention just right and the bill for 3 people including drinks and a shared dessert was $150. Love the decor. It was quiet but it was early on a Monday. I’ve been in on the weekend evenings and it’s been quite loud but a fun ambiance with sometimes I believe, live music. Thank you.

Holiday celebration arrived early was seated immediately. Was offered a very nice table. Very good attention by all staff.

I had high expectations based on the rave reviews about the food, but our dining experience was a mix of highs and lows. Despite having an early reservation, the service felt rushed and impersonal. The waitress seemed overwhelmed, managing several tables across the restaurant, and wasn’t particularly friendly. It was nice to see that the highchair we requested in our reservation notes was already at the table when we arrived—a thoughtful touch. However, we were celebrating birthday, which was noted in the reservation but unfortunately went completely unacknowledged. The appetizers were excellent and definitely a highlight of the meal. However, the pasta dishes were a letdown—they were overly salty.

My wife and I had a very nice dinner at Sweet Basil on Moody. The baked Gouda appetizer was not only tasty and with eye appeal, but also quite generously portioned. We split it and could not finish all the greens. It easily can be shared among 3 and maybe 4 diners as an app. Our entrees were also delicious and of generous size. The drinks were good, and the drink menu is interesting. We could not manage desert, so we took one home: tiramisu. It was a bit of a disappointment; not up to others in the area. The ambiance was eclectic and inviting, with an interesting international music playlist in the background, complementing the ambiance. The wait staff was competent and pleasant and around when needed. AS advertised on their web site, the place is handicapped accessible, which we require. Overall, a very nice evening out.
