SWIM CLUB

A historic pool turned social club, Swim Club is refreshingly fun. Indulge in the age-old adage: eat, drink, and be Downright. Grab a bite in the sunken dining room with submarine views of the adjacent pool, sip a refreshing cocktail on your poolside lounger, soak in the sun on The Lawn, and when the good-hearted and good-timing leaves you thirsty for more, enjoy late-night tunes in Rodeo Room.

DINE AT SWIM CLUB

Dive in with cold-blended cocktails and brick-oven cooking. Vibrant cocktails with bright spices and citrus complement the dining room’s animated hues while the menu conjures memories of endless summers, highlighting local ingredients, backyard grilling favorites, roasted with the ferocity of the Texas sun. For groups of 12 or more please email ryan.hollowell@downrightaustin.com or visit us online at swimclubaustin.com for private dining requests. We also offer day passes for pool access only in person or through ResortPass.

A fun, hip, casual spot. Service and ambiance were amazing and the food and drink were great. Especially recommend the chips & dip sampler and the pizzas, made in a special oven by the pool.

Don’t think I’ll be back. The food or service weren’t terrible, but they also weren’t memorable. The ambiance is doing all the heavy lifting and the pricing isn’t good. So, there’s no reason to come back.

We did not actually get to enjoy Swim Club because we left after finding out that we had to spend $45 per person to go to the actual pool area, which isn’t mentioned here on Open Table and should definitely be a forewarning. Not that that’s terrible in itself, lots of places have a minimum per person (although for $45, would expect luxury and it looked like an apartment pool), HOWEVER you can’t actually spend the $45 AT the pool, you have to order $45 worth of drinks before even being allowed access to the pool area. We planned on spending the day there enjoying drinks and food, but upon finding out that we couldn’t do that at the actual pool that we came for, we left. Very disappointed.

Double date night, while the students were at the football game! Had a lovely time and enjoyed the chicharrones and Baja tacos the most! Also those mixed drinks are delicious!
