The DJ at 9:15 PM was so loud you couldn’t hold a conversation. Food was extremely overpriced for the size of dishes, especially since sides were not included. Taste of food was good, but not great. Service was great until the end of the evening, and we waited and waited and waited for the check. We don’t really feel the need to go back.

Food was excellent but service was a bit lacking. I do not blame the waiter, who was very nice and was running around to many tables. Maybe not enough servers? It took a long time for our order to be taken; we were not served pita bread until we asked; we had to track someone down to get more water, etc. We opted not to order dessert bc of how long everything took, but it still took a long time to get our check. We ended up scrounging for cash to leave on the table bc we couldn’t find someone to take our credit card. That being said, the food was top notch. Praisini salad was excellent. Huge tasty shrimp in shrimp cocktail. Whole lobster and swordfish were both delicious. It just seems that more waiters are needed.

Hi Debbie! Thank you for your detailed review of your experience at SYMI. Although we are thrilled that you loved the food, we do apologize on the service being very slow. You are correct that we were short-staffed; unfortunately we had two servers call out sick right before their shift so the servers we did have were definitely overwhelmed. It is not the experience that we want our guests to have, and we do hope that you give SYMI another try soon!

Service was outstanding. Beautiful inside. My fish was ok but not anything I would rave about. The spinach was too chewy and I couldn’t eat it. My friend got the chicken kebab which she enjoyed very much. She said her wine was excellent. The salad was very good and the yogurt dessert also very good. Prices are way too high. We went at a fairly quiet time but management was also in midst of working with people who came in to arrange for a private party and they were exceptionally noisy and disruptive.

Hi Mary, I'm so sorry that you didn't particularly enjoy your fish or spinach while dining at SYMI. I'm also very sorry that you felt the prices were high considering we are participating in Restaurant Week and have an amazing 3-course dinner package for $49.00. I also apologize if management seemed disruptive while taking with other guests. We thank you for your comments and we do hope you will give SYMI another try in the future:)

We had a delicious dinner at this fun and lively restaurant. Everyone in the room was enjoying the atmosphere and live music. It did take a while to get our table and food but they took care of our drinks and coffee which was really nice of them. We will definitely be back.
