   We sat at the Chef’s Counter, which was vibrant and entertaining. The chef was very personable, while studiously orchestrating the kitchen. Food was excellent, and presentation beautiful. The bartender duo was attentive, but not pushy in any way. Cocktails were fantastic and creative. This was our second visit, and we are looking forward to our third. A gem in a foodie city!

   At 7:45 pm was sat in the “overflow” area of the restaurant with my party of 4. Screaming children, bright lights, no music. Asked to move and it was refused. The worst food experience in steamboat and maybe in Colorado for the price point.

I apologize the feeling of an "overflow" area as it is part of our standard seating plan as we are a fairly small restaurant. If you do ever choose to come give us another chance, we would be delighted to have you sat in the other portion of our dining area to ensure a better experience for you and your guests.    Last night, my daughter and I had an unforgettable dining experience at Table 79 during our father-daughter trip to Steamboat Springs. From start to finish, everything about our meal was exceptional. We started with the crispy Brussels sprouts, and they were absolute perfection—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and seasoned just right. They set the tone for what turned out to be an amazing meal. For our main course, we both had the mushroom ramen, prepared with tofu since we’re vegetarian. Let me tell you, this dish was outstanding. The broth was rich and deeply flavorful, the noodles had the perfect bite, and the tofu was seared to perfection, bringing out an incredible texture and flavor that complemented the dish beautifully. It was warm, comforting, and packed with umami—one of the best ramen bowls we’ve had. To finish, we shared the s’mores dessert, which was a nostalgic and delicious treat. The combination of gooey marshmallow, chocolate, and graham cracker was the perfect sweet ending to a perfect meal. A special shoutout to Libby, our server, who was friendly, attentive, and made the entire experience even more enjoyable. The ambiance of Table 79 was warm and inviting, making it an ideal spot for a memorable night out. If you’re in Steamboat Springs, Table 79 is a must-visit. Exceptional food, wonderful service, and a fantastic atmosphere—this place truly delivers on all fronts! We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town. 5 stars all the way!

   Hands down the best restaurant in Steamboat. The quality of the ingredients, the composition of the dishes, the care of the staff, you might as well be eating at a Michelin starred restaurant. I’ve been to quite a few, so imagine my delight and surprise to find the same quality of food here at this unpretentious local spot! The manager and our server treated us like we were VIP and made sure everything was lovely from start to finish. I wish I lived in town because I would come back week after week. I saw many happy diners both local and from out of town and everyone was having a lovely time. Not too loud at 5:30 on a weeknight but you can tell it picks up later as they have a great bar menu. Make reservations for dinner. You won’t regret it!
