The restaurant is upstairs in a pretty shopping center. There is an elevator available. The dining room atmosphere was relaxing. The scallops and prawns were delicious starters. All of our entrees were amazing. We had Ahi and crab encrusted fish special. Jenny was a great waitress. All the staff attentive and friendly. Will definitely go back!

Nice ambience and room temperature. Food OK. Never have I Ever: I am approaching 80 and, for the first time my life, I was compelled to shout to get a server’s attention and then to admonish the server for inattentiveness. The server did not show any sense of urgency, even when a request was raised or when she forgot something. She offered bread with Olive Oil & Vinegar, then she took our order and then another table’s order and entered the orders into the computer. Then she finally delivered the bread but without the OO&V. By the time she brought that, the first bread basket was consumed. While dining, one of our group requested salt, but it was never delivered. Too busy chatting with other customers and doing other tasks. The plate got cold and was abandoned at that point. We decided to forego dessert. She was chatting it up with customers at nearby table when we were ready for our check. Tried waving to get her attention and finally had to yell out. The poor service ruined what otherwise would have been a good dining experience and lost the restaurant the dessert dollars.

Wonderfully welcoming! We enjoyed a Saturday evening meal for two; the service was attentive and warm, the food was flavorful and delicious.

We went to "Table at Poipu" two nights and two very different experiences. The first night the food was excellent, particularly the paella. The second night the food was okay, not terrible, but not great. I had the paella again, and it was not nearly as good as the first night. (My husband tasted it and agreed.). The service the second night was horrible. Very slow and inept. For example, they charged us for a salad we didn't order. When I asked that the charge be removed from the bill, the waitress disappeared and then returned and asked whether we had asked for dressing on the side. (Of course, this didn't make any sense since we hadn't ordered a salad.). She did then remove the charge. The desserts (chocolate mint ice cream pie and chocolate decadence) were excellent both nights.

Second visit this trip - did not disappoint! Best food we’ve had in Poipu area! Quiet relaxing setting! Shared a small plate, had a salad and shared main course! Perfect!

Dinners at Beach House, Stevenson’s, 1849. Hands down Open Table was the best dinner we have had! Can’t recommend it highly enough.

We had several appetizers and they were all fantastic. A little pricey, but everything in the are is like that. Service was very good.

Table at Poipu is comfortable and well designed. The food is the star and served by a great wait staff. Jenny, our waitress, delivers a great dining experience with full knowledge of the menu. Each dish cooked to perfection! Highly recommend Table at Poipu.

It was the most tender mahi-mahi we’ve ever had!!! Jenny, our server was great and friendly and the all the food we ate were excellent!!
