Step into a Tahoe Joe's Famous Steakhouse restaurant, and it's like taking a trip to Lake Tahoe. Ultimately, it is the food at Tahoe Joe's Famous Steakhouse that turns first-time restaurant visitors into long term guests. Our steaks are USDA, Midwest corn fed beef, cut thick and charbroiled over a cracklin almond wood fire. Our signature items, such as slow-roasted Joe's Steak, Railroad Camp Shrimp and the to-die-for homemade Nevada Cheesecake are favorites our guests crave and are only available at Tahoe Joe's Famous Steakhouse. Rather busy the night we visited the restaurant, so our delivery of food and drinks was somewhat slower than recent visits. Waitress was very friendly and did a good job of looking after us. Cole, the manager on duty, was as helpful, friendly, and courteous as he has always been. Food and drinks were delicious, and we did enjoy our visit.

The Joe's steaks are amazing. Went here for veterans day.....the Jack burger was a free vet meal and wife hot the Joe's steak sandwich.....we split both and they both were just really tasty.

Another good evening of dining at Tahoe Joe's! Good drinks, good food, very good service. Keep asking about the plans to return Halibut to the menu for the Fall/Winter months, but not happening yet. This is a considerable downer! Otherwise we were treated well by our server, and the manager continues to be a jewel for this restaurant!

The food was absolutely wonderful and the atmosphere was great. It had been awhile since we had here but the wait was worth it. We are already planning our next visit.

Trevor, our waiter, could not have been more accommodating and it was a pleasure to have him serve us! We had contact with the manager, Cole, who has always been very helpful and friendly, a real treasure! Food was perfect, drinks were tasty, and served in a very timely manner. An altogether enjoyable experience, and relaxing evening!

We enjoyed our visit to Tahoe Joe’s very much. It was my husband‘s birthday, we decided just to do dinner the two of us. I had the calamari steak and big baked potato, which was phenomenal. My husband had the fillet with green beans and big baked potato, and everything was cooked to perfection, the warm dinner rolls are to die for!!!!!The only complaint I have is we both had Caesar salad and it was literally trenched in dressing so much so that it made the lettuce soggy. The dressing tasted wonderful. We just needed a lot less of it. They brought my husband a piece of cheesecake for his birthday and he said it was absolutely delicious. I don’t think you can find better ambience, service, and the delicious meal that you get for the price. The value is so much better than your higher end restaurants, and the food was as good as any of the others!!!!!

Tahoe Joe’s has improved immensely over the last couple years since they were taken over. When Fansler owned them, they were excellent couldn’t beat anywhere in town. Then when they got taken over by another company, it went downhill now it’s a lot better. They improved the quality. The taste is getting back up. There still has a little ways to go, but it’s doing really really well.
