After months of training in Japan, A new Takumi Yakiniku is back! New Team, New Menu, Better food and Better Service.
Takumi Yakiniku is a Japanese Yakiniku BBQ restaurant that offers top quality Australian Wagyu and Japanese Wagyu and Authentic Japanese Cuisine. Besides Yakiniku we also offer traditional Japanese Washoku. We have both buffet menu and A'La Carte menu. We aim to provide our customers the best experience with us by providing the most authentic Japanese taste, the most harmonious dining environment and best customer service experience.
Our kitchen staff are mostly native Japanese who have 10+ years chef experience in Japanese Cuisine.
Recent training in Japan allows us to provide more varieties. Besides, Yakiniku, we will start offering Ramen, Udon, Tempura, Oden, Steaming Egg, Ochatsuke and Yakitori to our customers. So that you get more to choose to fulfill your wish. Please don't hesitate to visit us to try our food.

    Surprised me with a little Happy Birthday Greeting card and little cake display. Great service and explained the menu very well. The ambience and customer service was a delight

    Really fresh sashimi and tasty sushi. There are lots of variety of meats to choose from. Our party of 3 chose the deluxe buffet. Food came relatively quickly after ordering as we were there on a weekday.

    most cooked dishes are very well. Meats are ok and not good as other similar levels. Scollap sashimi is not fresh and nkt good.

    Thanks! Great meal. We had all enjoyed it. One of us who's specifically sensitive to food quality (can easily get stomach upset) commented that she's very satisfied with the food. Good quality indeed.

    The service is ok but meat quality is far below average, the wagyu beef looks like it’s from supermarket, Sashimi quality and size not good either considering the price. ox tongue is the only good choice if you go.

    Great value for the bbq buffet, and the meat and sashimi quality is great, with lots of variety. The VIP room is nice for a birthday and the staff are very thoughful to leave a small gift and candle. Its our second time dining here and we will be back.

    Incredible quality food and ingredients. Wish there was more variety and the service was faster, even when there wasn't many customers it still took ages for the food to arrive, and sometimes it wouldn't even be the right food. I would only go during promos.

    We decided to eat early as it is often difficult to get parking around Eastwood. We decided to order ala carte as we are not big eaters and were not really hungry that day. The cuts of meat were of very good quality and even the chicken and pork belly cuts were good. Service could be a little better as the staff forgot our order of hot tea and it only came towards the end of the meal when they didnt understand when we tried to cancel the tea order since it was so late into the meal.
