We had a fabulous meal at Tala. Great drinks, delicious food and portions were sizable. Service was attentive and pleasant.

Brunch at Tala House with my sistafriends was an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, everything was exceptional, with the highlight being how they made my birthday extra special. The smoked salmon omelet was rich and flavorful, the pancakes were fluffy and indulgent, and the tacos were a perfect balance of textures and spices. Highly recommend this spot for a memorable brunch!

This is my 2nd time at Tala House. It is a great spot. Great food, drinks and service.

Wonderful Valentine’s Day dinner. We were on time for our reservation, and they promptly sat us at our table. Nice vibe. Our waiter was attentive and a pleasure. I recommend trying to sit in the front room or back room. We were seated at one of three “two tops” in the narrow hallway next to the kitchen. Although it was exciting to see the kitchen humming on all cylinders, the ventilation is not great. Our eyes were watering from the kitchen smoke. Not a big deal, but for whatever reason, it’s just not ventilated very well. But, it’s a fair trade off to see the kitchen and all the excitement. Will go back.

This place was amazing! The service was great and the food was even better. We started with the mussels which had an incredible sauce + bread to dip it in. We also had the short rib and Chilean sea bass, both were a 10/10.

So happy to see Tala House VERY busy on Valentine’s Day! This restaurant is a great addition to the neighborhood! Dinner and cocktails were great as was the service. Our only critique is that the room was really loud as the dining room was packed with tables close together, even near the bar at the entry. Might be worth adding something to muffle the noise. We will definitely be back!!

Second time to eat at Tala House. We need to try a weekday instead of a holiday for crowd, but the food was outstanding! Even for a busy Valentine's Day, the food was perfection! I had Halibut last time and it was delish and this time I had filet mignon... which was so tender and flavorful! The spicy cauliflower appetizer is a favorite and was great. I can't wait for warm weather to try sitting out on the patio area in back. The wait staff is very good and service is excellent. It is a bit compact for a large group but it has wonderful food!

Ash’s place is amazing he and his staff genuinely connects with you and you feel like you are the most special guest in the room. We have lived in Chicago since 2010 and know all the restaurants in the area and this by far, is our most favorite place to dine. The dishes are a piece of art, flavors are complex and subtle at the same time. It feels like a home cooked meal with all natural ingredients. We are so excited that he brought his vision and passion to Andersonville, it is a perfect addition to the neighborhood!

The food was fabulous, the staff incredible but the noise level in the rear dining room was an issue. Small room with lots of tables and people makes it challenging to have a conversation. Otherwise outstanding. Can't wait for the summer when they open the patio.
