One of the best restaurants in Chicago now. Fresh and creative food that is sooo tasty! And the service is so warm - hi Elias! Greece meets Latin America and pairs well! This was lunch and have been there for dinner as well!

Tama was a wonderful dining and special date for myself and my partner. We went on Valentines Day 2025 for dinner and loved the experience. The food was wonderful. An amazing value for the price. We loved the atmosphere and excellent service. We look forward to going back again! We had Focaccia, Beet Root Salad, Beef Skewers, Fish Soup, and the Basque Cheesecake. The Focaccia with the truffle icecream was decadent and delicious. The Fish soup was velvety and flavorful. We highly recommend. An excellent house aperitif (basil) was a perfect end to our meal.

Everything was amazing: food, drinks, service, vibe. One of our top favorite spots we’ve dined at in Chicago. Definitely recommend the mussels and carpaccio to start.

Tama is a favorite. Food and service are consistently excellent. Cocktails are amazing. Love this place. The short rib orzo, sea bass and ribeye are always favorites. Highly recommend.

Came for restaurant and really enjoyed it! The place is adorable and I really appreciated the soft comfortable seats. Will say, it was annoying to keep getting bumped by employees since the walkway to the back seems very narrow. For food I had the beet salad, cauliflower, short rib orzo, and cheesecake. Everything was full of flavor. I do wish the portions were bigger, I left hungry (could be a restaurant week thing). Cheesecake was kind of chunky, but it’s a flair of creme brûlée, so maybe that was just expected? Flavor still there though. My waitress was attentive and kind. Will definitely be back!

We had the most incredible dining experience at Tama and enjoyed their Restaurant Week menu which was fantastic and a total bargain. The service was impeccable, and our server was so helpful, wonderful and generous. The service in general was perfect. We even met Chef Avgeria who was just lovely. Overall dining experience was an A+++. Will return!

This was a great experience! It was great sitting by the kitchen and seeing the chefs prepare the food. They really care a lot and it was easy to tell from the food and experience. The beef carpaccio was great, as well as the burnt basque cheesecake with the strawberry coulis on top. Would definitely come back!

Went for restaurant week and had the most amazing experience with Elias! He was so kind and offered great recommendations. I had my newborn with me and he was so sweet to her. I will definitely be back for more delicious food!
