   Very nice experience. Friendly welcome as I was dining here for the first time while visiting Addenbrookes . Very good sea bream fish special of the day and excellent cheese board. Excellent service and recommend 100%

   My main course came before my starter. I finally got my starter but then when the main course came it was cold. It was then reheated. I found this all very poor for this standard of restaurant and the price paid.

   Trying out a restaurant you have not been to before is always fun, and the Tamburlaine did not disappoint. All the staff were exemplary, the atmosphere very good and the food excellent. The selection was not huge, but this meant that the food was fresh and well cooked. The restaurant layout worked equally well for groups and couples wanting a quieter evening. Modern, stylish, tasty food with excellent service.

   What a little gem! Came for a meet up with friends as this was halfway for us. Everything about it was perfect. The staff, the food, the ambience, the setting…. Truly was one of the best afternoon teas we have done. So close to the station too. Would highly recommend and will defo be visiting again. What a great place

   We arrived for our booking at 1915 and was left waiting for 5 minutes. There seemed to be only one waiter on shift. The resturant wasn't busy, so there was no excuse for a lack of acknowledgement or any excuse for someone not to be on the desk at the entrance. The one waiter was taking food orders from the other two tables before we were seen and seated. After we were seated we were given the menus and it was 15 minutes before we were asked for our drinks order, and a further 20 mi uses before drinks arrived. No co.plaints against the food. The food was lovely. However I ordered a steak and had to ask for a steak knife. We weren't the only one who complained there was a lady who complained that she had a 2 hr wait for food after ordering and even then it didn't all arrive at the same time. One meal arriving 20 minutes after the others on the table. The service got better after the duty manager appeared. Overall I would eat here again based purely on the lack of service given the prices they charge.

   The service was excellent throughout our two night stay and staff were so accommodating. Our set menu came with a welcome glass of prosseco but we offered alternatives which was very kind. Staff were so welcoming and friendly.

   Located in the Clayton Hotel, both the dinner menu and breakfast buffet offerings are excellent. I especially recommend the sea bream with chermoula for dinner.
