Excellent dinner as always. We come to Hawaii every year and always eat here. Always order the wagyu with lobster and scallops! Service is always stellar also!

Our server Anthony was great along with our chef Eric. The food was great and the entertainment was a delight. I will say our reservation was for 6:30 and finished around 8:30. There was a lot of waiting before the food started and after the food was finished. We loved our evening here but just know that it will take more than an hour and a half.

Always an enjoyable evening at Tanaka! The food was delicious and it was entertaining to watch the chef cook our food right in front of us!

Probably the best Teppanyaki I have had, the chef Kyle had all the usual tricks but more importantly the food was cooked perfectly. I had the combo petit filet, lobster and scallops ($67) and my wife had the filet and shrimp ($52 I think). Service by our waiter, King, was excellent and weet feeling full. Included was grilled onions, mushrooms, peppers, bean sprouts, miso soup (really good), small green salad, steamed rice, hot tea and steamed rice. 6 stars from me

高齢の両親との旅行で、父がハワイ旅行に行く際は毎回利用します。ガーリックチャーハンは、美味しいので好きなのですが、ボリュームが多すぎで半分以上たべれませんでした。サービスチャージは、事前に組み込まれた値段での請求でした。ハワイのサービスチャージを考えると、ものすごく安いと思います。円安でしたが、比較的安く食べられたので、家族は大満足でした。

Dear Arlene, We welcome all feedback to help improve our operations, but we are bit confused, as your guest questionnaire for your party of 4, was returned with all "Excellent" ratings for Food Quality, Service, and Overall. The only thing we can think is if someone else in your party completed the questionnaire and thoroughly enjoyed the experience, or if your review was supposed to be for a different restaurant? That same night, 89% of our questionnaires were returned "Excellent" and 11% "Good". We did not have any "Average" or "Poor" ratings, or any complaints about the quality of our food. We serve high-choice Certified Angus Beef, and the thigh cut of chicken which retains its juiciness when cooked on a teppan. Our "Steak and Chicken" combo is also one of our most popular dishes.
