   We moved our reservation to the bar which is where are most comfortable. Sam and the rest of the crew took great care of us. Always a wonderful meal and the ambience is warm and welcoming. We will be back!

   Food was good, but despite having many open tables that could accommodate our reservation for 5, they seated us immediately adjacent to the kitchen door. The constant heavy traffic of waitstaff and noise from the kitchen significantly diminished our experience. If this was the only open table and we did not have a reservation then I might understand being treated this way. However, that was not the case, and I left feeling disrespected despite a $250 bill plus tip.

   Wonderful food, attentive service, great atmosphere. Everything we could've asked for in a Thanksgiving meal. Our server was especially attentive and courteous.

   Exquisite -- a Thanksgiving feast featuring all our favorite things, but elevated to near perfection. You know that mushy green bean casserole with mushroom soup and crumbs on top? Tandem's version was perfect soft-crisp fresh green beans with assorted gourmet mushrooms (I think one was maitake) and a light creamy sauce that accented rather than drowned the veggies. That's just one example. This was hands-down the best restaurant holiday meal we've ever had.

   Thanksgiving dinner had good variety and the quality was very good with one exception - the food arrived barely warm. Cold mashed potatoes, turkey & dressing and more were not hot and not even warm - very disappointing. Gravy was good and we needed extra to put on food that was not hot but should have been. Liked the family style BUT the size of the serving dishes was a problem because all the dishes did not fit well on the table. As a result the 2 people on one side of table had their plates up against them and trying to eat from that angle was not a pleasant experience. For future such dinners invest in some appropriate serving dishes so the experience makes the focus on the food not how to get to the food from an overcrowded table. Great to have 'to go' boxes to take home the leftovers!

   Our only complaint was that there wasn’t enough room in the table for all the platters which are served at one time. Much better if salad and biscuits served first, then main course.

   Enjoy a night out with family. Wanted the mussels but daughter has nuts allergies so that was a no. So we went right for the mains. The salmon with curry was out of this world. So delicious. Others had the burger and fries and were not disappointed. It is not an inexpensive meal but the quality is worth it. My only negative is that basic beer and wine choices seem a bit expensive. But they do offer drink specials on different nights. For me, both the food and service were stellar so we will definitely be back.

    Excellent food and service from Brice S. The Caesar's salad was outstanding as was the Joyce Farms chicken, beef ribs and the wine, which was 1/2 price a bottle on Tuesday evenings. We don't get to Chapel Hill too often but we now have a favorite restaurant that we will frequent whenever we do.
