All guests joining us for the final seating must be 21+ years of age. All guests attending our final seating must prepay the per person amount. In the event that you need to cancel, we ask that all cancelations be made by Monday, December 23rd in order to receive a full refund. After the 23rd, they are non-refundable. Decreases in party size cannot use remaining minimum towards beverage.

    Vegetable rice tasted funny and burnt The Brussels sprouts didn’t have any flavor was still hard and orange chicken didn’t have no crisp . Then we ordered drinks and aparantly happy hour is only at bar which wasn’t explained till after bill came ….

    TAO Downtown has a cool vibe to it, great service, and excellent food. Great for work, bray, and special occasion dinners.

    Andrew was a fantastic sever, and made the staff made the night very special for our anniversary. Amazing experience from top to bottom!

    I want to start by saying that we love Tao and this review is in no way representative of the usual quality of service we have received. This is our 4th time here. We always come for our wedding anniversary. The restaurant was about 2/3rd full. With dozens of tables for 2 available. We were sat in a dark corner where there was no view of the restaurant (a main reason of coming to Tao). Upon requesting to be re-sat it was taken care of quickly, and we were at a much nicer table. The problem here was our server. We had to wait for about 5-10 minutes to be greeted and offered water. He was very inattentive, never checked in for more than 10-15 seconds while passing by jotted it down and moved on. It seemed that his only goal was to turn the table with minimal work. A main reason of going to a nice place is the atmosphere along with the food. This was just all definitions of a mediocre experience at a price point that a quality experience is expected.

    My friends and I really enjoyed our time at the restaurant. The waitress food and drinks recommendations were excellent. We definitely need to go back there.

    I booked a table for our anniversary with my wife, who held you in extreme regard from her previous visit to your place. In my reservation, I only asked for a nice seating place, which is not too much considering it’s our anniversary. When we arrived at your place, we were greeted nicely but we were put to a table, which is very near to the other tables where we think only walk ins are taken to and even after we asked for a seat change to one of the empty booths, which were at least 5 at that time, since it’s our anniversary, we were rejected again. Since you are in hospitality business, you should have known way better how to please your customers and especially show respect their wishes. We were put in a place where I could hardly hear my wife when she talked and unfortunately had to hear other customers talking because they were too close to us. You managed to make me and my wife unhappy and sad on our anniversary and I’m not even talking about the “birthday cake” that we received instead of an anniversary cake. We are extremely disappointed with our experience in your place and we even regret coming to your place. Your place is extremely overhyped and exaggerated and really disrespectful.

    Avoid the hype and go to Chinatown for better food at half the price.
