A 16-foot Buddha, which floats above a reflecting pool filled with Japanese carp, presides over the scene at Tao. A favorite destination for celebrities and athletes, this Pan Asian restaurant specializes in authentic Hong Kong Chinese, Japanese and Thai cuisines. Tao has three levels of dining including the prized "Skybox" which offers views of this former movie theater unparalleled in New York. In addition to its 300 seats, Tao includes a sushi bar, lounge and two bars at which to enjoy the food and the show. Appetizers range from $8 - $18; Entrees: $16 -$39.     The food was amazing & our server was great. The ambiance was good. The service to get a table was ok, I had ressy for 8:00 pm got there 8:06 pm and we had to wait 35 minutes for a table. Did not like that at all just because we weren’t told it was going to be that long of a wait, we were told a couple of minutes. But overall it was a good.

    This place is very nice! I order the same thing every time and every time I do come, the food gets better haha. I usually go to Tao downtown (it’s much closer), it’s the same except I feel downtown is bigger (spacious). The music was a bit too loud, barely could hear my company.

    Came here on v day and it was really good! We got honey glazed salmon and orange chicken with white rice and it was really delicious! We also had some drinks tao tini and lynchee martini and it was good as well wasn’t too strong of a drink. Our waitress was super sweet! Overall loved the experience
