A celebration of Sherry, Wine, Tapas, & Friends. Influenced by the culture of sip-a-little-bit-of-this-and-eat-a-little-bit-of-that, Tapavino began in August 2012 as Australia’s first Sherry Bar in Sydney, in a little lane-way not unlike something you would find in the cobblestoned alleyways of Spain. Helped by the beautiful warm vibe that greets you as you step inside and take a seat among floor-to-ceiling wine bottles, Tapavino was named runner-up in Sydney Morning Herald's 'Best New Bar' Awards within 4-months of opening. 12-months later we were named 'Best Bar with Food'.

Made very welcome the staff were very attentive unfold the noise level was very high and it was difficult reading the menu in the dark we had no light on our table but the food and wine was delicious Robert

We had a great dinner here our first night in Sydney. The sommelier made a great selection of a Spanish red. The Salmon dish as outstanding as was the zucchini small plate.

Great location, very relaxed atmosphere with excellent choice of foods and wines, the staff are most helpful and the opportunity to relax and not be pushed out is a bonus. Well worth visiting, you won't be disappointed.

We will be in the minority, but we didn’t have a great meal here. Read the menu before you go. The tapas choices were not ones we prefer. We ended up ordering main plats, and they were marginal. The servers were very nice, the atmosphere had charm, but the food is fairly high priced and not memorable.

We were looking for somewhere to eat close to our hotel in Circular Quay and found Tapavino by chance. We are real fans of tapas and regular visitors to Spain and the Canary Isles and Tapavino did not disappoint. We were seated upstairs as we had pre-booked and even at 6.15 the place was busy. Menu offered a lovely range of familiar and not so familiar dishes. As always, we over ordered (!) but the food was gorgeous. Friendly, attentive but unobtrusive service made for a perfect final evening for us in Sydney.

Tapavino never disappoints. Interesting menu. Good wine selection. High energy, helpful professional staff.

They truly create an atmosphere that is like no other! The food is divine, quick service and fantastic vibes. All of the staff are incredibly kind, even when it’s pumping they make sure to take care of you.

The food here is delicious. The tapes means you get to experience white meat, red meat, fish, and every bite will be delicious. Even better than the food is the service. Juan gets 10 stars from us!

Loved this place!!! We were staying next door and had walked past so many times do not let its demure facade fool you the food was absolutely outstanding!! All the staff were excellent, one of the girls was exceptionally attentive and most definitely seemed like she had been here longer than 2 weeks. We will recommend to anyone coming to Sydney
