   With several fine restaurants in the Valley, Tarbell's is at the top of our list. Dinner with our old neighbors from Michigan. The food was outstanding; the staff was polite and attentive to our needs and did not rush us through our meal and conversation. Topping off the evening was Chef Mark stopping by all the tables reinforcing the class of this long time Phoenix establishment.

   Excellent, friendly service, good food. The sea bass dish was excellent. Bolognese padta was okay.

   Outstanding food!! Excellence service!! Very nice ambiance!! Tarbell’s is one of the best restaurants in Phoenix and very high on my and my wife’s most favorite restaurants!!

   Tarbell's continues to be the place to go for a very pleasant evening. The food, service and atmosphere can be counted on. Every time I visit, all have an enjoyable time. Thank you.

   I ordered the lemon pizza pie and it was covered in lemon seeds!! You would expect that the chefs would remove all the seeds before covering and cooking them in cheese? Who wants a pizza covered in bitter and gross lemon seeds? Not to mention every dish we had was flavorless, seemed to lack even salt and pepper. We ordered the Mac n cheese, the meatball, and a couple of other dishes that seriously disappointed every single person at the table. Then our server did not check on us even once after we got our food. Our server then was seen offering other tables explanations of the seasonal deserts, but only came and gave us the bill so it was obvious he was trying to get rid of us as soon as possible. Won’t be coming back again to eat overpriced, flavorless food. Yuck.

   The mussels melted in my mouth and the scallops were heavenly. The service was fabulous. Our waiter seemed so happy to be there and was very helpful. It was really expensive for us but will be back because it was worth every penny for the food and the people that worked there.

   Their sea bass is always cooked to perfection (yum) and their willingness to accommodate individual preferences is much appreciated. My favorite restaurant in Phoenix!

   Our first time here even though we Have drove past it for 20 plus years. So amazing! It was really perfection from the ambiance, wait staff, and delicious food! From the mom’s Mac and cheese to the lemon pie to the wagu tips amazing! Even though it’s hard save room for the bread pudding dessert!

    In a dessert of chicken wings and ranch… The food at Tarbell’s is like a vacation back home to NYC where cuisine is an art and a passion. Unlike anything else in this city. The menu changes but I can confidently pick anything and know I will love it. Warning: The Hostesses will not honor the 15 minute grace period that is noted on OT. I called to inform them I was 15 minutes behind to be told I was being pushed onto the waitlist to seat those who are on time. This behavior does not match the warm service and atmosphere of this establishment. I was 17 minutes late and she wanted to let me know that I was “passed the grace period” which she told me she wasn’t honoring anyway. I will return and hope to have a better experience with the host staff so that I can say everything was perfect!
