The wine list is interesting, concentrating on great Italian wines you might not have heard of (but should) at really fair prices. The food is fantastic reginonal Italian-influened cooking and excellently prepared. What a lovely mix of sophisticated cooking, great wines, and sincere service. Adding to our regulars list for sure.

What a great place. Took my girlfriend there for a bday dinner. It was great to watch the chefs cook. The place was full but it didn’t feel crowded. The food was AMAZING. We started with focaccia and prosciutto, and the trout caesar salad. Yum! The salad was better than I expected. Really delish. Then we had a fish special with pine nuts, pesto and fried potatoes that was out of this world. And we went for the crab truffle primi even though they ran out of crab. Very rich and good. We had the bucini dessert which also delicious. We had a few cocktails and an orange wine -all really great. Service was just perfect. Would definitely return.

I can't recommend Tartuca highly enough. I visited there for the first time a few months ago and since then, we've returned twice because Tartuca quickly became our fave place to eat in Portland. We've loved EVERYTHING we've tried here which doesn't happen too often. Plus, the ambiance is spot-on and the people who work there are always amazingly helpful and friendly. Awesome place for date night!

Tartuca is the platonic ideal of the neighborhood Italian bistro. Their interesting and thoughtful wines pair perfectly with house-made pasta in a warm and inviting space. The ever-changing menu rewards repeat visits. I highly recommend their burrata which varies constantly but never disappoints.

The food was top-notch, and the wait was quite reasonable. The focaccia was truly the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot of focaccia. I would return just for the focaccia. The waiter was great. Not a noise factory, nice ambience, nice staff. One thing: since they no longer serve pizza, they shouldn’t say on their window that they have pizza.

Absolutely FABULOUS dining experience!! Everyone was super friendly...the vibe and ambience was cozy and fun..and the food was delicious!! The ricotta gnocchi with squash was out of this world!! We will definitely be back!!
