Excellent food varied menu and lovely atmosphere- only a few metres from Thames footpath and yet a haven from the crazy crowds

Tasty set menu of 2 courses for £22. Starter a bit basic but very tasty main - we had the chicken casserole with bulgur wheat.

Excellent Turkish cuisine very close to Globe Theatre, and with 10% discount for thetre attendees on the day.

An excellent place to eat. The food was 100% fresh on the table and the delectable starters were simply divine. how do you make Humus so tasty and the battered squid rings were out of this world. Ambience was great but I guess we picked a rainy cold Sunday so we there were only two other tables occupied. The decor is exquisite, tasteful and fabulous with live growing vines circulating and our table service excellent.

My daughter and I enjoyed a delicious meal at Tas Pide. We especially recommend their signature Pide dishes and Baklava for pudding. The staff are friendly and helpful and service was quick. The restaurant itself has amazing decor with plants everywhere. The location is perfect for visiting The Globe as it is just opposite the theatre. We've eaten here a few times now and always enjoy th experience.

the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. while i was waiting for my main course i was given delicious bread and humous. i chose the chicken pide as my main and chocolate cake as my dessert. both were delicious. i was tempted by one of their mocktails, but ran out of time before a matinee at shakespeare’s globe. i’d recommend this restaurant, especially if you’re attending the globe as it’s only across the road.
