TAS Restaurants offer a contemporary Turkish style and warm, friendly atmosphere, and our Borough branch is perfect for any occasion. All dishes are prepared by highly skilled chefs using fresh, seasonal produce to the highest standard offering a delicious mix of classic and modern dishes, all served daily.

Terrible service. Had to keep asking for someone to take our order. Food was cold, bland and unsatisfactory. For a nice venue and live music it was a shame really

Regarding the food, we take great care in serving dishes fresh and at the right temperature. The cold meze you ordered, such as hummus and aubergine, naturally have a softer texture, which may have influenced your perception. We’re pleased to hear you enjoyed the venue and live music, though we noticed that despite your positive comments, the ambiance was also rated with one star. We’d also like to note that your group arrived at different times, which may have led to orders being taken separately. When our guests arrive at different intervals, it can naturally affect the flow of our service slightly. We hope to welcome you again for a better visit. Best regards

Nice wine, food and welcome. Mellow guitarist playing. We had a good early evening supper before going to the Southwark Playhouse.

Our first time at this branch of TAs. I was a constant customer for a very long time at two other branches. But hadn’t been for a while. Nevertheless, I trusted this would be just perfect for an Important family lunch. Lovely staff. Very accommodating and polite. Food was the worst I have had it at Tas. Dry bass and kofte. Every dish completely under seasoned, although my brother and his wife were very pleased with their mains. Great baklava and coffee. But generally underwhelming. What a shame.

Lovely food. Excellent value for money. One item we ordered never arrived, but that was ok as we were not charged for it and we were very full. Generous portions, constantly refilled bread. Delicious. Will definitely return.

Great experience, as always. Tasty food and attentive, but not intrusive, service. We purposely booked for a quiet time and had a very relaxed meal. For a change we had food off one of the set menus which offered ample choice. We will continue to go back regularly.

Excellent food and great value for money. Just the service was a bit hands off and we had to call the waiters a couple of times. In any case, i would go back there

Lovely food and great service at a reasonable price. We were dining with our friend who had a small baby with her. Felt very unhurried to order and given lovely table in quiet roomy part of the restaurant. Many thanks!
