Newly remodelled Taste at the Palisades, sister restaurant to Taste on Melrose, now resided just off Sunset Blvd a stones throw from PCH. Relaxed setting, homey yet sophisticated, with new expansive bar. Menu offers updated Californian comfort clean cuisine for eminently moderate prices. The menu, split equally between appetizers and entrees, includes seasonal finds like Albacore poke, white truffle mac 'n' cheese, salads and grilled atichocke. Main-course highlights like Kobe beef burger and crispy parmesan chicken paillard atop garlic potato puree. Large selection of stone oven pizzas. New expansive full bar with seasonal handcrafted cocktails.

My “house” margarita was disappointing. It was a bit too strong and not sweet enough. I drank it anyway because I felt bad to send it back.

We were caught in horrible traffic on the way there. We called several times to tell them we would be late as it kept getting later and later. They graciously held our table for over an hour. We greatly appreciated that.

Our server Alex was knowledgeable and friendly. This was our first visit and he suggested we try the two for one pasta and it was excellent we also have the most amazing pesto hummus and Keylime pie was to die for

Our friends joined us. We have been here many many times. This was their first time. They loved their beet salad and the key lime pie and the meatballs appetizer. We had our usual favorites—sabrosa salad Brussels sprouts. My husband likes your impossible burger
