   Had a 5:30 reservation for 3. Upon being seated was told our table was booked for an event that evening and we needed to leave by 7:30pm. I mean. It felt as though we were being rushed through our ordering process and meals. This was the only time I’ve had to connect with my oldest daughter around the holidays, and I felt as though it got cut short. I wish we had been given the option of sitting elsewhere so that we didn’t feel pressured to leave. Other than that, the food in the atmosphere was excellent. Just unfortunate that we didn’t have time to stay for an additional drink.

   It's a fabulous place to eat or get a drink. It was New Year's night so the noise level was high but also expected considering the moment we went. We started with the tots, which came out exceptionally quick and tasty. We both ordered the steak tips. They were cooked to our liking and came with sides (a good portion of mashed potatoes and broccoli). For dessert, we ordered the red velvet donuts. They were delicious. Our server was great!

   Love this sports restaurant. Great place for a fun family dinner given the excellent food and sports screens. I also have a child with Celiac and this is a good place for her to eat. Everything is labelled and the waitress was very accommodating. Highly recommend this restaurant, especially for gluten-free people. My only complaint is it's loud, but that also makes it lively.

   Poor service can really make or break an experience and sadly, this is the second time we’ve had the misfortune of having this particular server. I thought the first time was a one-off. Interestingly, his demeanor seems to vary based on how much melanin is at the table.

   My wife and I prefer pubs and usually shy away from "chain" type of restaurants. But our daughters are both big Tavern In the Square fans and they've gradually also convinced us as well. This particular location is our favorite despite there being one or two that are closer. This one is a solid 35-45 minute drive for us but it is well worth it. Visited a couple of times (plus once just for drinks at the bar). The staff are all so nice and the service we receive (we always request same server) is literally second to none. Food is very good and the portions are quite large - certainly enough to have a second meal at home. They really have an excellent bar selection too. I usually order bourbon and they have a lot of choices. We will continue to keep this place in our rotation.

    Michelle was inattentive and slow. It took 45 minutes to get 2 cheeseburgers, thank goodness we got an appetizer. Many tables were vacated after the Patriots game and not cleared for up to 35 minutes. We frequent Tavern at least 2x per month due to my partner having severe Celiac. That said, it is quickly dropping off our 'go to' list - we frequent both Dedham and Littleton restaurants. Worst experience yet, and we have attended Tavern for 3+ years.
