   We had a very good experience at Tavern on Rush. Tyler the manager made our experience really great. He made sure our reservation was honored. The upstairs was very beautiful. I had the branzino with potatoes it was good. I am use to the whole fish but it still was good. Petite fillet steak with blue cheese on it. It was delicious. NY strip was delicious as well. The asparagus, fries and brussel sprouts was delicious. I definitely be back! Thanks for making my friend birthday memorable

   So disappointed in the decor as it wasn't anything special and simply felt like a hotel lobby bar. I was hoping for booths and luxury and it fell short.

   Thanks for visiting us, Patrick! We appreciate your feedback on the decor, BUT, did you gat a chance to see our upstairs space while you were here? While the "bar side" of Tavern is set up more for volume and functionality to accommodate said volume, the booths you are wanting DO exist in our upstairs space! We actually have an entire room upstairs dubbed the "Velvet Loft" because of the Frank Sinatra era style velvet booth setting throughout the room. There is also a smaller 6 seat bar-top upstairs that is quite warm and inviting :) Please do come back and see this beautiful space! A couple of glasses of bubbles on us while I give you tour!    My friend and I were seated outside at a corner table in the sun on a gorgeous day! Awesome!! Maybe the best seat in the house that day. My daughter joined later. We started with wine & cocktails. Then ordered starters. We had the giant meatball - delish! Whipped ricotta, unexpectedly sweet, the arugula seemed to tone down the sweetness. Still, very good. Lastly, we ordered Burrata & prosciutto. The waiter did ask about food allergies and I mentioned pine nite to which I’m allergic. The burrata was surrounded with pesto which is a nice touch but I’m pretty sure pesto has pine nuts. I’m not 100% that Taverns pesto has pine nuts but most does. Just be careful and double check for yourself if you have food allergies or concerns. I didn’t eat any just to be safe and this in no way put a damper on our evening. We all had a great time! Welcome back to the neighborhood, Tavern! We missed you. Sorry it took so long to come visit. We’ll be back. 👍🏻😁

   We enjoyed our lunch on St. Patrick's Day; the food was great; our server, Roberto P., was excellent -- very knowledgeable, friendly, pleasant and patient.
