This was easily the best food in the Bradenton area, the service was stellar and we cannot wait to come back. The meatball, French onion soup and Brussels sprouts were a table favorite but nothing was something we wouldn’t order again!

We were celebrating a birthday. Waiter was fine until dessert and we were only given two options, tiramisu or gelato. We asked for Lemoncello cake but were told they were out. Asked about cheese cake but were told only those choices. The table next to us who were also celebrating a birthday got to choose off a dessert menu. We saw cheese cake served at another table. This really put us off. As for the food- the French onion soup was too salty and not using the normal gruyere cheese left it lackluster. The meat ball was very good. The shrimp were good in the pasta Diablo. The Waygu short ribs with pasta was good but the chosen pasta was very large and didn’t complement the dish. Unfortunately the tiramisu did not have a very coffee flavor and was a poor way to finish the meal. Overall it was one of our worst experiences celebrating a birthday.

Friendly, attentive and well versed wait staff. Great food and atmosphere. Good valet parking. A Bradenton gem.

Food quality and presentation was outstanding. Table service was very good but we had to wait 45 minutes to be seated for our 4pm reservation. Prices were high which is ok given food quality but not for being seated 45 min late

Our initial impressions were negative. We made dinner reservations noting that it was our anniversary, yet they wanted to place us in an unsatisfactory place with plenty of seating elsewhere. At our insistence, we were placed elsewhere but at no time did they acknowledge our anniversary. Nick, our server was beneficial with wine and food selections. We were very satisfied with our meals.

Food is amazing and the service is TOP NOTCH!!!! The bread you order is very different and sooooo delicious. Well worth it. I also had the double cut pork chop and it was huge so brought the rest home. My husband had the lobster ravioli (special) and said there were big chunks of lobster in it. We will definitely be going back again!

I was excited to try Taverna and was disappointed with my experience. The service was very inattentive and our food took over an hour to come out. The serve barely checked on us and did not acknowledge the wait time at all.

short rib bolognese was the best ever, anywhere! filet w risotto also a winner. french onion soup was five star as well. overall a great experience.
