VIOLÍ was initially inspired by DineAmic Hospitality Partners, David Rekhson and Lucas Stoioff's, travels throughout Greece, where they acquired a newfound appreciation for the natural Greek lifestyle. Following their trip, the hospitality group opened LÝRA in West Loop's Fulton Market neighborhood and now brings the Greek Cuisine and world renowned superstar Chef Partner Athinagoras Kostakos to the Western Suburbs.

    The service was terrible our server name was constincio. Wasn’t attentive our reservation was at 9:45pm once we were seated we weren’t greeted for 20 minutes we had to as a bus boy can they get us a server. Then we were finally greeted 15 minutes after that by Constincio and only asked for drinks. That took 10 minutes. After that another 20 mints went by and we had to have Hector and a Hispanic lady server for help they both attempted to take our order due to the lack of assistance from Our server. Hector and the young lady were both very helpful. We were very disappointed with the service being as tho it was our first time and we were there for Valentines Day Celebration and was not happy at all. We watched people arrive with us and after us he seated and attended to before us we didn’t get our food until 11pm our reservation was at 9:45pm. By the time we got our food we were ready to go so the food was wrapped up.

    Our dinner fell short of our expectations. It was our first time dining there. The octopus was excellent. Our main course gyros was unlike anything either of us have ever had. I was unable to chew or eat mine as it was dried and over cooked sitting in grease. I sent my back. My husband did try to eat his by dipping the meat in the butter and taziki sauce. He ate some of the meat before admitting defeat. We both left hungry.

    We had a nice time for Valentines. My wife loved that they accommodated us even tho we were late due to the snowstorm. The service was amazing and the food was delicious! We had the tasting menu with a four course meal. Highly recommended for date night’s and anyone just looking for a good venue, with music and tasty food.

    Great Valentine's Day menu. All the items on the special menu are available during the regular day. So, we'll be coming back.

    We had the Valentine’s day pre fixe meal. So very good! we chose grilled meatballs and grilled octopus. Both of us had the saganaki, which was a nice surprise on the menu. Beef tenderloin and seafood pasta were perfect. Ended with 2 dessert cakes. Fantastic as usual.

    Well the service was stellar as I was accommodated for arriving an hour and half early to my RSVP. The food was delicious and mouth watering. I will definitely come back!

    this was my first time and also last time visit this restaurant. over all the food didn't taste good to me（personal option）. the pasta was too sweet to me， the chicken has no flavor， but the shrimp was too salty. and our server was not friendly and kept rushing us to order food which i didn't happy about it. and i was celebrating my birthday，the reception girl knew and say happy birthday to me she was so sweet and nice. but my server do nothing for my birthday and I'm kind of disappointed.
