   Disappointed. You don’t need reservations as it probably never gets busy due to the service and poor quality. It took over 20 minutes for our daughter to receive a sprite. My order was brought out wrong. We had two Alfredo dishes and one of them was so thick like velveeta cheese while the other was buttery and runny. She said she would take my order off the bill but she only took off 20%. It’s expensive and the quality of food was not impressive. At the end of dinner, the waitress brought out my correct order when we were done eating.

   While the food was good, it seemed overpriced for the portion size. We waited at least 20-25 minutes after being seated before the wait staff greeted us. They were out of many menu items. It took nearly 30 minutes for the entrees to arrive. We had to ask for refills. The overall experience was very disappointing.

   Terrible Caesar salad. Dry, “out of a bag” not mixed with dressing, no anchovies. Ordered cheese pizza. The sauce tasted like it was out of a can, huge amount of cheese - couldn’t eat it. At least the crust was crunchy. Will never go back.

   Very nice & quiet location. Has a corner view of 2 streets. Food & drinks wonderful.

   I was expecting exceptional, and received Denny’s style service. My water glass was empty, but another waiter that had a table next to us near the 12th street window didn’t even offer to fill my water glass after filling the table next to us. Our waiter never asked my wife if she wanted another glass of wine. I had to ask for a refill of water. We had to ask about the menu selections and our waiter never seemed to be engaged with us. When you drop $210.00 dollars for two for mediocre food, I would expect a little more engagement from our server. We went to the Bar at the Marriott next door and had better conversation and interaction with Andrew the bar tender then we did with our server. By the way, what Italian restaurant doesn’t server bread with pasta, none in Italy. I won’t be returning. It just seems that being engaged as a server is out the window, it’s more of a”Hi, what do you want, here’s your bill, get out. I get better service at Coach’s in OP, KS and it’s only $60.00 with tip for two. I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but this is not an ordinary restaurant and not cheap, I expected better service. What gets me, is that no one from the restaurant even comments about the reviews.

   This is a pitiful menu, a small step above a bar car menu on Amtrak. The chicken Caesar wrap was acceptable but not particularly appetizing. No one else was in the restaurant and it felt cold and dark and uninviting. Our Dr er was very nice and attentive but then we were her only customers for over an hour after noon. The hotel it’s attached to has a street buzzer to let you in. Bad news for downtown KC.

   There was practically zero staff working. The manager did as well as he could to keep people served but this isn’t a serious restaurant. The food was mediocre at best and the main ingredient was salt. Skip it and go somewhere else.

   Very good service prior to a concert. Had time for tiramisu. Everything delicious. Highly recommend.

   I am unsure if they were short-staffed, but the service was prolonged and delayed. The food was exceptional, cocktails were delicious and the overall ambiance was gorgeous.

    I have had service issues in the past but this experience was the worst. Lack of servers required the bartender to wait on tables (which I've noticed previously) with help from the hostess who obviously had no experience with this job). Long delay receiving food (was an issue as I had a performance to attend) and when it was delivered, one of the entrees was incorrect. Not enough time to rectify the situation so I missed dinner. Despite expressing concerns, we received only an apology from the bartender and told to reach out to management after the fact. An email was sent to management team the following day but have not received a response. No plans to return unless there is a change in management and attitude.
