Service was attentive but the food was inconsistant. The salmon was cooked very well, and the spinach ravioli was very good. The eggplant Parmesan was not very flavorful, though the side pasta was great. The linguini in clam sauce was thick and gummy, but not very tasty. Prices were ok for the area and there was a nice selection of wines.

While I would still return to Tavolo, we were a little disappointed in the food. It was a quiet Wednesday evening. The server was inexperienced, yet attentive, so no complaints there. We have been there before and also, to one of their Rhode Island locations'. The food was good but didn't compare to our previous experiences.

Server was excellent! Food awful! This is the second time we’ve been here. Eggplant rollatini was inedible the first time. The pizza is good so this time we kept it simple and had the thin crust pizza and salads. Had a beet salad that tasted sour. Group at the bar was very loud. Hate to condemn a business but they need a better kitchen. Never again!

Lovely food and attentive service. The food looked good and tasted even better, making us happy the the portions were large. There was a large and loud crowd in the bar that was annoying, but even so, we loved our food choices and intend to return.

We are not strangers to Tavolo. We have dined there often and had a much better experience. in the past! The main issue was that they had a new menu that removed several of our favorite dishes. This was very disappointing given the plans we had for enjoying them. Our server appeared to be a new employee, so we will give him a "pass" on the service. He definitely tried to give us his best. Maybe more experience will help.

Will not be going back to Tavolo. The first 3 bottles of wine we ordered they did not have. My wife ordered the pork chop, they were out of that as well. She ended up ordering the skirt steak which came out overcooked and tasted horrible. I ordered the frutti di mare which was OK. The pistachio cake dessert was very good. Overall a terrible first impression. The waitress was sweet and was kind of embarrased at her situation. No manager came out to see how we were doing or apologize for the items they were missing. Will not go back!

David, I apologize for a less than stellar experience that you relate. Sometimes we get caught up in supply chain issues, and that can happen anywhere. We do not offer skirt steak but I assume you meant the Steak Frittes. No matter, presenting a poor entree is not acceptable to us, either. I would like to invite you both back for two entrees with our compliments, for a second chance to show you what we do right! Please send me your email to bruce @ tavolowinebar. The food was outstanding. The short ribs were meaty, not fatty, and on a huge rib bone. I asked for risotto instead of the masked potatoes and it was a delicious mushroom risotto. The veg was great and my husband’s Wedge Salad and shrimp dish were great as well. This place is a hidden gem. Run… don’t walk to this fabulous restaurant.

Went on a Saturday night . They were out of 2 of the 4 dishes as well as the wine that was ordered . Don’t think we will return.

Quiet for a Saturday night, but food or service did not disappoint. The vodka sauce was one of the best I’ve tasted and the lobster ravioli with shrimp was delicious! The swordfish piccata special was cooked perfectly and tasted excellent as well.
