   I went last night with my best friend & the experience was amazing! Great service, great food, & great quality. Only minor inconvenience, was afterwards when we tried going upstairs to take a picture with the sign we were told we couldn’t bc it was late already. So what are the appropriate times to go upstairs then? But, other than that great restaurant!

   It was a great experience, but the food was underwhelming. Great ambience great environment really enjoyed the space in the restaurant itself.

   I went to Te Deseo for an anniversary dinner and it was our first time! We loved that there was complimentary Valet and as soon as you walk in you’re greeted by a very nice host. The staff were very friendly and great. I appreciated that they congratulated us for our anniversary and brought out complimentary champagne. The ambience of the restaurant was pretty and it was loud, but I could still have a conversation with my significant other without a problem. The food was okay. The ceviche mixto, was actually pretty delicious, but the main entrees were kind of a let down. For a nice restaurant with medium high prices, it was not really worth it. I had a few issues with my order, I think due to the server not realizing that certain parts of the dish came together. The chicken was pretty dry without the sauce and it turned into a big mix up that my significant other finished his food first. Apparently the manager brought out my food after the fix, but he didn’t introduce himself or apologize about the ordeal. I honestly thought he was one of the wait staff until my server told me who he was. We got the churros for dessert and those were pretty okay as well. We were celebrating and in a good mood, so I didn’t get annoyed plus the servers kindness and willingness to help us made the evening enjoyable. I would say overall that if you’re wanting to just go somewhere to enjoy the ambiance and have pretty good cocktails, then this place would be okay maybe for a more going out night. You can dress nice and take cute photos here. Other than that, if you’re trying to celebrate and spend money on a good meal, you could find that elsewhere.

   The restaurant was not busy at all on a prime weekend (valentines) and most of the clientele was poorly dressed. Besides lacking the upscale vibe, the food quality was not great. This place has a ton of potential due to the location and look, but is lacking the right ownership/mgmt to make it more upscale.

   The food was outstanding! The service was second to none. But please please please buy a coffee machine.That amazing desert would have been so much better with a nice cup of Jo instead of the water we had to drink.

   Went for the Valentine’s dinner with my date. Got seated at a small table right next to another party when there were other open tables. The 6 oz steak for the main course was well done instead of medium, one of our courses (Yucca Frita) was entirely skipped over. I was excited for the pupusas on the menu but was disappointed with the undercooked dough I received. The dessert was well executed. The overall dinner felt rushed, glad I didn’t solely rely on this experience for Valentine’s. Total for 2 dinners and 3 drinks: $271.90 (with 20% included)

   Positives-our server was very helpful and informative. Drinks were good. Ambiance of venue was nice and all staff were helpful and nice. Negatives-food was not good. Potatoes were hard. The appetizers were not appealing nor had flavor. Overall will be back because of staff and ambiance.

   Me and my gf usually like going to te deseo. But we went to the valentine special and left super disappointed and feeling ripped off. It’s included 3 course and a dessert, which initially sounded good until you saw the portions served to you. First the ceviche, you only get one spoonful. Then the pupusas, you only get 1 small 3inch pupusa served on a huge plate, almost to mock you, that lacked flavor and felt like the the masa was undercooked. Then waiting almost 30 minutes for the “main” entree feeling like they’ve forgotten about us. The entree felt small as well but at least had decent flavor and seasoning. Then serviced our dessert which was also small and to be shared between 2 people. All this to be charged over $200 for, I felt disappointed and seeing my partner to feel like this on such a special day was not what I wanted for her. We even went to get some food else where on our way home to at least not continue feeling unsatisfied. This experience was not expected and definitely makes us not want to return, even though this was a special place and the place for our first date and where we went to celebrate our anniversaries
