   Our waiter was not up to the standards of an expensive restaurant like Teakwood. There was no welcome or friendly banter, just order taking. We could have been at a diner. After our appetizers were served and eaten, he came back to take our dinner order, which we had already given him. We told him we had to leave for the theater soon, so when the food finally came out. It was undercooked. The portion also seemed paltry for the price. On the plus side, the sauce and appetizer were tasty.

   Amazing food!!! Service was a bit sketchy, but it was a very busy evening. Staff was very friendly and truly wanted everything to be just right for us. We look forward to returning!

   Do not recommend. Food was fine, but go to one of their other restaurants for that. The Manager and wait staff were dreadful at Teakwood. First of all it was chaotic serving to begin with, but that could be overlooked. The big issue is that we were asked to vacate our two-top table after barely over an hour of being there because a large group of people "was waiting a long time" in order for Teakwood to put tables together. We had a reservation and oddly had actually confirmed at seating what time we would be leaving because of a show to go to, and this was well before that. They were extremely rude to us about it, and tried to make it sound like it was somehow our fault and guilt us into moving. It was shocking frankly. So much so I asked to speak with the Manager on the way out. That man could not have cared less. 0 stars for him and his wait staff. 4 stars for the food and the rest of the staff. I will not be returning to this location. The service is far and away better at their other locations. As a local and neighbor this was so disappointing.

   The Tea Leaf salad was excellent, as were the Saties and Samosas. However, the website needs to be updated. Prices are much higher than the website reflects. The Tea Leaf Salad went from $18.95 to $23.19. and some items listed were no longer on the menu. For example, the website showed 3 Samosas, but we only gave 2. It's a bit pricy but still excellent food.

   It was our first time dining at Teakwood. We had a show to see in a few hours, and I made the reservations earlier the day before. Based on the reviews alone, I decided this was my kind of a spot at least to try out. Little did I know we would fall in love with everything that came to the table.

   Food and service were excellent once seated. However, we had a reservation for 6:15 and were not seated until 6:45. No offer of a chair for my father who has mobility issues and has a cane or an even a drink or water while we waited. At least two more parties after us also were told their tables were not ready despite a reservation. Lots of us crammed at the host stand. We received apologies but maybe a free appetizer or something to help the unfortunate situation a bit better.
