Established in 2017, Téatro Bar & Restaurant is the sister business to the nationally recognised Barn Theatre, located nextdoor to Ingleside Hotel in Cirencester

We pride ourselves on offering a unique dining experience; offering quality, sourced produce formed into exquisite menus, alongside carefully crafted drinks, all served by our wonderful front of house staff.

Our stylishly designed restaurant and famous outdoor area, The Firepit, sit either side of our relaxing bar where live piano fills the air. Teatro is the ideal venue for any occasion; a birthday, pre theatre dinner, or a drink with friends.

Great food as always. Service is always lacklustre sadly, with long waits, collection of iPads constantly, no check backs, and very robotic.

The service was very good on the whole. The menu isn't extensive though with only a few choices. The venue looks tired and could do with brightening up.

Taking my husband who has Coeliac Disease to a fine dining restaurant, it was very disappointing to find only one gluten free starter. My duck main course was tasty, but it would have benefitted enormously from some fresh vegetables and please serve the sauce on the side. My sauce was over thickened, sticking to the plate. Had my plate of food been microwaved? I found the restaurant expensive and the portions small. The staff, however, were exemplary and we enjoyed the atmosphere apart from over loud music which was appropriate for the bar, perhaps, but not the restaurant.

Absolutely brilliant pre theatre dinner, the staff were friendly and accommodating and the food was perfect. This was our first trip to the theatre and the meal and restaurant made it really special.

Food was amazing and I would go back in a heart beat for it. Service was the only down side. Although they were lovely when we was served. It took forever between courses to have our stuff taken away and after dessert it took so long we actually got up and went to the bar to pay as we didn’t have our stuff cleared or an option to ask for the bill. Considering how quiet it was in there I didn’t think that was particularly great.
