Teddy offers a fresh and approachable take on the modern Aussie bistro, filled with familiar favourites seen through fresh eyes. The menu is curated by widely acclaimed Chef Ben Sears (Melbourne), and the kitchen is overseen by Head Chef Nicole Coelho who brings her culinary flair to strike the right balance between old and new school favs.

Teddy is the perfect space for all season and all reasons. Gather the crew for the next big event or just drop in for a weeknight-wine on the way home from the daily grind.

Double Daily Happy Hour is from 4pm-6pm, 7 days a week (and it's well worth sneaking out of work early for!)

The Teddy courtyard offers a killer private event space and is the perfect area to book out for you up to 25 of your favourite peope.

We had the same (German) guy greeted and serviced us who served us at Ezra (the sister restaurant next door) before and always nice to have them recognize & acknowledged you. He’s fantastic and service is always awesome! Food was presented well and very tasty but serving was very small. We didn’t order much as we just wanted a light bite; however serving was a bit small even for a lite bite. Could be a fraction bigger I think, especially the crispy skin potato. We were not super sold on the 80s music which was blaring quite loud rather than as a background/ambient music. In our opinion Teddy is a restaurant set up, not a bar/pub so the volume of the music needs to reflect that. Overall we had a good night and would definitely go back and try more dishes.

Brilliant atmosphere, delicious food, perfect service. King fish and minute steak are two menu highlights. Will be a regular haunt for me!

What a gem and a great addition to the area, food and service are fantastic. The fixed menu is incredible value.

Loved it (again). Enjoyed a relaxing Sunday afternoon lunch at Teddys. Couldn't ask for anything more - great food, service and drinks.

We’ve been here before and returned mainly for the fantastic chocolate orange dessert- be warned however you can only order one per table. Luckily I preordered as soon as we arrived! This is not to say that the rest of the meal wasn’t delicious-it was! The standout for this visit though was our waitress. She could not have been more attentive and engaging. One of our party had very restrictive dietary requirements and she double checked everything with the kitchen before suggesting choices and once again as she delivered the meals. Despite a raucous table of extreme drunks, we had a lovely evening , thanks in no small part to the service we received. We will definitely return

The food and service were both amazing. Potato skins, Royale, baked pasta, minute steak, salt & vinegar fries all a must try. Negative was adding the surf which was only 1 butterflied prawn, that was a bit of a rip off. If you’re seated next to the street, it can get cold so request an inside seat if this bothers you. In the warmer months, the space will be perfect. I’m not a fan of the automatic 9% surcharge but it made the decision to not add a tip very easy.
