Food good, service okay, we liked the look of the restaurant but the noise level way too loud. Waitress cupped her ear to try to hear us better. Even didn't hear our appetizer order so it never came. May try again only if we can get an outdoor table.

The noise level was super high. The food was tasty but I couldn’t hear the 3 people at my table. Hard to have a conversation.

The service was very attentive and thorough. It was a little loud (maybe some sound buffers?). The food was all quite good. The chairs are awful/super uncomfortable.

This restaurant has only been open for 4 weeks and it is phenomenal! Nick at the bar was serving up looks and fabulous drinks! The service was great as we were slightly late for our reservation but they honored it and accommodated us easily. The apps were all stellar, definitely recommend the Crab Tostadas and Brussel Sprouts Esquites. The prime rib you also cannot go wrong with. Overall a lovely addition to the north side neighborhood.

The service was quite spotty and while the appetizer was edible (duck confit) the main course was not. We ordered the redfish and it was tough and undercooked. When we sent it back, it was clear that they had just put it back on the grill and it arrived in multiple pieces and looked very unappetizing. We were not charged for this dish, but it doesn't make up for the fact that it was quite bad. We were still hungry after not eating the fish but they only had two desserts to choose from, so we opted for another glass of wine (could not mess that up). It was also quite difficult to have a conversation - for a small space, the noise level was too much and bench seating too high compared to the person sitting across in a chair. The chef and staff really need to step up their game in a city like Austin with so many excellent restaurants to choose from.

Menu was great and cocktails were some of the best I have had. Tried the lump crab tostada, salmon and red fish. All were great but tostada and salmon were a were favorites. Figuratively speaking and the lone star martini (on the sweeter side) were delicious. We will be back to try more cocktails.

I ignored a review that said the food was overpriced and that it was a loud environment. Both were true. The food sadly wasn’t very good, nor fresh. We barely touched the salad as the croutons were stale and the dressing had an odd taste. The server didn’t ask if anything was wrong with it even though it wasn’t eaten and we’re not the type to complain, especially while waiting for additional food items. The hog in the blanket was the best thing we had and a good app. The French dip sounded good, but reminded me of a Buckees BBQ sandwich but made with old bread and having the cafeteria taste. The prime rib was decent, but price-to-value ratio, I’d prefer getting it elsewhere like Carve or Homespun. We will not be back as there are far better restaurants in Austin.

Overpriced and very loud. Could not hear my partner who was infront of me. I had to ask the server to repeat what she was saying multiple times. Paid $25 for a drink which wasn’t made right and when I asked to correct it the server said she could bring me something to fix it (why am I doing the work!)

Great southwestern spot and awesome service! Hannah was our server and she was great (definitely recommend having her as your server)! The whole staff was attentive. I’d recommend the parker house roles and elotes but there isn’t a bad thing on the menu!
