   Tekila was a great choice for my birthday dinner! The food and drinks were delicious, the staff were super friendly, and the atmosphere was amazing. Very clean restaurant and they gave a complimentary birthday dessert. Will be back!

   Tekila Memphis is an upscale Mecican restaurant and steak house. It is a wonderful addition to the Memphis dining options. With a party of four and each of us ordering different items, we were able to sample 3 appetizers and 4 entrees. All of the dishes were perfectly prepared and presentations were appropriate to a fine dinning establishment. The grilled oysters were amazing! The reason I am not rating Tekila an overall 5 is due to a major snafu with the tables. Even though we had a reservation there was a 20 minute wait. Even after waiting, they didn't have any tables for four available and ended up pulling 2 small round tops together. It was very awkward for conversations and didn't provide enough room for plates, platters, glasses etc. Clearly, they have problems managing the reservations!

   Waitress was very polite. Handmade salsa is great and drinks were good. Guacamole was frozen, oysters were bad and the $80 steak was undercooked(rare). We were dismissed when we addressed the issue and told the steak would warm up on the skillet. It did not warm up, all the skillet did was make the steak tough. Good environment/ ambiance all in all would have given it like a 7/10 but being served an undercooked steak and no attempt to resolve the issue I give this a 4/10

   Overall very enjoyable. I LOVED my street corn and pollo al molé. It was huge and could easily feed 2 people. He liked his tacos. The only real complaints are the chairs are way too short for the tables, so I felt like an 8 year old and could have easily stuck my face in my plate. The server was a sweetheart who was trying really hard, but obviously had not been trained properly. Somewhat overpriced, we paid $125 for the above plus 4 drinks.

   We were at Tekila at 12:30 pm. While we were hoping to have some selections from the dinner menu, we were given a brunch menu, which was fine. The waitress was lovely. She was attentive enough that she was available to help, but not overbearing. Our food was delicious. The chilaquiles were great and it was a lot of food. My friend and I talk a lot, so we occupied the table for two hours. The waitress even brought us an extra drink to try since we seemed to be staying a while. We can’t wait to return to have dinner!

   Jessica was an exquisite waiter. She made the experience 10x better. She was extremely accommodating and attentive to each of her tables. Ask for Jessica whenever you go there!

   The food was great. Once we got service is was great but I think the host sat us at the wrong spot and no server knew they had us. It took 20 minutes to get someone to our table and we had to ask for a server. After that things were great but it kind of set the start for not so great service. Dip was brought out with no chips which was annoying especially when we had already waiting 25 mins at that point. We wanted to enjoy drinks before food but didn’t get that chance. Food and drinks were good.

    Not sure if I would try this location again. Staff was nice but the wait time to be seated and for the food was way too long. The food came hot but not good. Maybe it would be better if it wasn’t a holiday.
