   We went as a family to celebrate Christmas Eve. We booked as a party of six, but one of our party bailed, so we were only five, which led to our disappointment that they still charged a fixed service charge. Additionally, for half the meal, the music was so loud, we could not talk. Once past this, our food and service was great and we all had a great time.

   A fun place with interesting cocktails. We really like the meatballs and Brussel sprouts, the chorizo boa not so much (the dough was undercooked and the meat a bit bland). Service was attentive. Quite noisy even on a Monday night

   Our server forgot about us and had to wait 30mins before asking someone else to get our check. Manager was nice enough to remove mandatory surcharge but too late as the dining experience already tainted. High price range should match a high level of service which was not provided.

   I was a bit disappointed with the customer service at this location of Teleferic. We have visited the Palo Alto location several times and never had this experience. I made a reservation for 6 PM for a party of six adults. We were not seated right away even though I saw many empty tables. After 15 minutes, I had to ask again how much longer we had to wait. Only then did the hostess say she would seat us. We were then led to a table for 4 in the corner, with a chair added to the end in an awkward place. We were also expected to have 3 adults sit on a bench meant for 2. After we objected to sitting like that, and asked for an actual table for six, we were moved without incident, so I was thankful. But I was confused why we were made to wait so long and given such a bad table in the first place. But our waiter was really great and the food came out in a timely way. Overall, it was a bit of an uneven experience!

   The food was excellent and the service was good. The biggest downside was the noise level. We specifically asked for a room in the back and were accommodated. The host then also seated a family with a baby next to us. Having an infant out at night past 7pm was not smart by that family but why seat them next to us. The main dining room is extremely loud making it a shouting match between tables. Very bad acoustically designed restaurant!
