   Great teppan yaki dinner on Christmas Day! Our chef was entertaining and food was served quickly. Worth a visit if you like Japanese Teppan-Yaki.

   The food was good, nothing amazing but it was prepared right and the price was reasonable. The chef was good and friendly but didn’t interact much and he didn’t do any of the corny “egg roll” jokes nor try and flip a veggie into your mouth etc. The $11 up-charge for the fried rice was a joke, it was literally just soy sauce and garlic butter (although the menu says bacon fried rice there was none). If you’re wanting to stay on property, it’s a good option overall.

   It was way too loud. We couldn’t hear a word our cook was saying. Unfortunately we all got extremely ill about 30 minutes after eating. The food was not good, the music was too loud and it was too cold. Overall, don’t spend your money on the overly price mediocre food. Super disappointing.

   If you are hoping for an experience like Benihana’s cooking wise, you might want to consider something else. Our chef, although very nice and friendly, lacked the swirling knife and chop show you get with Benihana’s. He tried to offset that with humor and other props but if you’re looking to have a true hibachi cooking experience, this is not the place unfortunately. Meal was fairly bland and rib eye was not very tender like it should be. Too much oil of some sorts used which overwhelmed the dishes. For the money, it’s definitely not worth it.

   We love the food here. The cook Randell was very friendly. We have been here several times, we will definitely be back on our next trip to Maui.

   Lots of fat on the steak with about 8 pieces being uneatable for one person. Food unfairly divided up among people who ordered the same meat course. At one end of the table, only onions given for the veggies for two adults. We also didn’t get the same level of performance from the chef that other tables were getting because we were seated with almost all children from another party. The server thought those children were ours and it became super awkward especially for a Thanksgiving dinner.

    The most disappointing thing was no yum yum sauce - only a ginger sauce and a mustard sauce. Bacon fried rice wasn’t saucey enough.
