Muy bonito lugar, ideal para un atardecer, ya que se encuentra un poco elevada la terraza, muy buen servicio, la comida rica, definitivamente volvería a ir.

This is our favorite 'nice dinner' option in San Miguel de Allende. The terrace looks out on the jardin and is fabulous at night. The food, since we began eating here 2 years ago, is consistently delicious, full of interesting flavor combinations. The price is very reasonable for excellent food, close to downtown. We highly recommend Terraza 48. Our server is always attentive and positive.

I had a wonderful dinner, the “wild” salad I believe and the risotto. The food was delicious, servers attentive and the view was great. Will go back.

Mi experiencia en Terraza 48 fue un deleite desde que llegue hasta que me fui. Fui a San Miguel a proponerle matrimonio a mi futura esposa y este fue el lugar que elegi por sus imagenes en donde el atardecer se ve precioso y que buena elección hice, de las mejores vistas de San Miguel de Allende. Desde que llegue las meseras me recibieron con mucha amabilidad y me colocaron en una mesita muy linda que daba hacia el sunset de San Miguel y la catedral. Toda la comida muy rica al igual que sus bebidas. Cabe recalcar que yo no bebo alcohol pero queria una cerveza sin ello y el restaurante no tenia y me hicieron favor de traerme unas personalmente para mi eso fue un detalle magnifico ya que fue algo muy lindo de parte de su staff. Las chicas me ayudaron a que pudiera hacer todo el movimiento para el anillo en donde sin yo pedirselos las chicas de el staff me prepararon un arreglito de rosas para cuando me trajeran el anillo que le daria a mi prometida. Definitivamente todo estuvo de lujo. El dueño debio sacarse un 10 con el staff que trabaja en su restaurante. Le agradezco mucho a todos por sus atenciones y definitivamente regresaría siempre.

Excelente comida y servicio. Lo que ya no hacen es el pastel de chocolate, que lastima!! Vistas se San Miguel impresionantes sobre todo el atardecer

We went here on a lark, and are so glad we did! We hit the most magical sunset we’ve seen so far. Perfectly situated away from the craziness, the atmosphere was tremendous and the food matched the ambiance. My one and only note is I wish they would have come to the table more often to check on us — we certainly would have purchased more drinks!

My wife and I celebrated our 50th Anniversary in San Miguel de Allende. We had many options for restaurants and sites . Terraza 48 was perfect for us. The blue corn tamale placed on a decadent mole gravy , the guacamole with pork rinds and chiles alone excited our tastebuds as did the craft cocktails made by our bartender . The Flaming Lips cocktail with Mezcal and Allende Beer were amazing. We were in awe how the sunset painted the buildings in natural colors. The lights of the city came on and set a romantic backdrop. The church bells reminded us how lucky we were to be together in such a special place at a most momentous occasion for us.
