   Our second time for dinner at Terroir, and it was again outstanding. Superb food. We enjoyed the fried olives, French dip, onion soup, beet salad, salade Lyonnaise, lamb tagine, pork sugo, and finished with the pot du creme. All just excellent. And our server was super professional and friendly. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Boise!

   Lovely dining experience with excellent food! We sat at the counter, which was cozy. Food came quickly and the service was great!

   Excellent food and service with knowledgeable staff. Restaurant has limited seating with a majority at counters with stools or at the bar which was quite pleasant. The bartender was delightful and helpful with food and wine selections.

   This was our second wine/food pairing and it was nothing short of fabulous! Travis offered some fantastic wines from Croatia and the food pairing was deliberately appropriate and delicious. From steamed mussels in a lovely vinaigrette to succulent goat with a plumb compote and finally, a delicious tart to end the meal, we dined and drank in style! Thank you all for another fantastic experience!! The service was spot on too!!

   The food was spectacular – a variety of unique dishes that were delicious and flavorful! Service was also very good. Noise level is moderate so not a spot for intimate conversations but a fun place with outstanding cuisine. We look forward to going back soon!

    Much of the food was excellent. I’d argue that the risotto and my steak came out lukewarm and the waitress acted put out when I asked to refire the steak. Taste was great and the super thick fries were volcanically hot so I think the steak was just waiting for the fries? The butter they put on there hardly was melting at all and the excuse was that all the butter is stored in the fridge/freezer but I put my finger on the steak and was unimpressed with that explanation. And another thing: there were some rotting edges on some of my lettuce in the salad that came with my pate. That’s is actually pretty easy to catch and avoid.
