Where it all started. Our first location on 720 Queen Street West opened in 1992. From a storefront selling imported Italian pantry staples with only a handful of seating to our most recent renovation and expansion celebrating our 30 years of Terroni, our first ever location got a much deserved face lift, elevating both the look and function of this neighbourhood favourite while still retaining its character of being warm and inviting.

Despite its modern, updated new look, the original spirit of Terroni that kicked off three decades of authentic Italian experience lives here.

    Premise: I am from Italy and therefore a bit biased, and though i love aspects of the Terroni brand (forno sud is fantastic for lunch), the reality is that Terroni Queen (my most recent foray for dinner) has solid offering, but nothing spectacular, or inspiring.. the pizza was middling (the impasto was not particularly flavorful) and very soggy at the center, the quality of the toppings was great (bell peppers, artichoke, olives, all fresh and tasty); the spinach ravioli was decent, but the spinach filling must have been frozen at one point, for it tasted watery... the wait stuff is super kind and energetic, the noise level can be quite high, but in the back, where we were seated was tolerably moderate.

    Terroni has been our go to for decades. An institution on Queen St. W. , this lively restaurant never disappoints. Excellent wait staff who understand the menu and wine list and make appropriate suggestions based on your preferences. A true gem!

    Great experience and I can tell service got even better since last time I was back 4-5 months ago. Manager and the servers were so attentive. Will certainly come back!

    I love the food at Terroni but the service was really not up to standard. We arrived for our reservation at 7:30pm and it took way too long to take our drink orders. Once we put our drink orders in, we didn't receive our drinks until 8:35pm. Receiving drinks after over an hour after being seated is not acceptable. Additionally, it took over an hour and a half to take our food orders, which we didn't receive food until almost 9:30pm, again not acceptable. We missed our second reservation as a result of this. The food is great, and I have normally had a great experience at Terroni. However, I was disappointed by the service, especially considering this was for my birthday.
