It all began on February 17, 1993, when Kent Taylor opened the first Texas Roadhouse in Clarksville, Indiana. Kent's goal was to own not just a family restaurant and not just a steak restaurant, but a place where everyone, of all ages, could come and have a great meal and great fun for a great price.

We like to brag about our Hand-Cut Steaks, Fall-Off-The-Bone Ribs, Made-From-Scratch Sides, and Fresh-Baked Bread. Everything we do goes into making our hearty meals stand out. We handcraft almost everything we serve. We provide larger portions so you get more food for your dollar. And if you want an Ice Cold Beer or Legendary Margarita to wash it all down — well, we have those, too.

At Texas Roadhouse our team has an incredible sense of pride in everything we do. Our passion ensures you have a Legendary Experience every time. Because of our passion for our guests and our communities, our team members are involved outside the restaurants in their local communities as a way to give back.

Our reservation is useless we wait for almost 1hr because no seat available. We arrived exactly on time of our reservation but upon arrival they said that we need to wait without specific time because no seats available.

The ambience is quiet and all the employees were very helpful and accommodating. They immediately take our order (take out) but it got a little long when it comes with the preparation. But overall, the steak was superb! and complimentary bread and drinks was given while i was waiting.

booked a reservation but when we got there they said the booking is not confirmed so they didnt reserve a table for us have to wait for around 20-30mins before we can go inside knowing that we have a toddler and an infant. so hassle. the food when we got there no more available beef only the 12oz ny steak. so have lesser options. ots my fathers birthday but we got just dis appointed

The steak was delicious, however, the coleslaw was too spicy for my liking and some of the Caesar salad was a bit soggy. My husband enjoyed his steak and ribs. The food was served quickly. The restaurant wasn’t real busy just then. As always, the rolls were yummy, but they could give a larger cinnamon butter.

The complimentary bread served before our meal is a fan favorite, warm and buttery. The staff are very friendly and attentive. They serve generous portions of food, ensuring you'll leave feeling full and satisfied.
